Thanks @FranC & @dc99 - might leave the tfa cheesecake in its container ;)

I'm trying to get out ta my comfort zone and try something I haven't b4. I want to do a cheesecake - but most call for cap NY cheesecake which I don't have yet.

I've got tfa cheesecake graham crust, and Graham cracker clear, biscuit (inawera), cap sugar cookie, cap sweet cream and tfa Bavarian cream plus most of the vanillas

Any good recipes with the above - or is there a sub for cap NY cheesecake?

Both are good cheesecakes, just a bit different. To me Tfa is a bit eggy and Cap is a bit more cheesy but they are both good.
You said you have a lot of vanillas, what are they

Tfa van bean gelato, tfa van bean ice cream, cap van custard v2, tfa vanilla swirl, tfa vaniilin and tfa whipped cream. Also got fa meringue and tfa marshmallow

Wow, the Catalan Cream must've really calmed INW Tiramisu down. My taster was 2%, I used 4% in the recipe. No Kona skunk.
I think I was aging the taster to calm it down, I'm going to be aging the recipe hoping the coffee comes forward. Not much cinnamon from the Sisha Cinnamon but it does brighten it.

Too much Cinnamon Ceylon for the French Toast so far.

Smokey Amber Plum is great. Tastes like no candy I've ever had but a candy. I might need to go ahead and mix up 30ml. That might be a first run success as it stands.

I'm not sure if Pornegranate is good because pomegranate is good or if the other flavors are helping. I think Amber will need another 1%. The Amber and Catalan Cream definitely blend well with pom.

IMW Tiramisu is tricky to mix. I've learned to use a small amount and with other stuff (like creams, after I do a taster on my Cappucino I will see if it might be a nice addition.

Happy 4th all, and man, you fall behind on this thread a MINUTE, (264 pages too much for even me) you are DOA. LOL.

Since I bet a lot of it was sales talk, I will just say happy 4th and THANK GOODNESS most things are closed (other than vape shops, apparently) I can just clean today. I may make a tester or two. Like fig, cappuccino, etc.

Definitely can't take a break on the wrong day.

I was wondering if the Tiramisu was a more is less issue. In the mesh tank the 2% taster had plenty of flavor.
I would probably try cutting back on the Catalan Cream if the coffee doesn't come forward with age.
It does taste more dessert-like than it did alone or my TFA Tiramisu does.

Ok that’s it for me. Just placed an order w ECX besides the flavors I already recieved from BCF. If I’m missing a flavor it’ll have to subbed out by something I have. In about 100 flavors that shouldn’t be too difficult.

Now off to Amazon to order a second case !

I used to think like that. I see many more orders in your future.

I ended up mixing the VT blueberry milkshake at 7% and added 2% tfa blueberry extra. It really helped the blueberry pop and I like it much better now. It wasn't bad solo but not enough blueberry flavor for me.

I have about 90, probably much less if I'd throw out bad ones. I think the way I avoid hundreds is making up my own recipes. Even if I see a recipe I like I think how to sub with what I have.
What gets me is wanting something like coffee. I know from getting dud flavors I'd better get a variety if I plan on getting a good EDV. A variety of all the stuff to get a recipe for a new flavor profile can end up over 10 flavors.
Other than that I only pick up one or two from browsing before getting refills.
