I don't think Queen smells red. Maybe yellow.
I'm not sure about Ace, it might have some tropical flavor I'm against in there, like malaria.

LOL. I know it's easy but my memory matches my calculating skills.Ok. I will try to break it down.
you have a 5ml bottle and want 6% of nic in it so total mg in bottle =30mg divide that by your source(60mg) and there you have it.
5 times 6 =30 divided by 60 = 0.5
6% flavoring would = 0.3 ml6% flavor
Fran, is your nic PG, VG, or a blend? And, if a blend; what is the PG/VG ratio?6% flavor
No, I wasn't trying to insult you---this is the way I do small bottles for me. There are many different ways to reach the same conclusion, so in my confused state(normal for me lol) this is how I would do it for me. I am sorry I sounded so abrasive, its wasn't meant as anything other than me trying.LOL. I know it's easy but my memory matches my calculating skills.

I didn't take that as abrasive at all and I appreciate the help. I was just laughing at myselfNo, I wasn't trying to insult you---this is the way I do small bottles for me. 6% flavoring would = 0.3 ml
so 5 ml bottle
0.5 ml (for nic)
0.3 ml for flavoring
1.7 ml pg
That leaves 2.5 ml for the vg and peg.......you could divide that evenly or any combo you want.
Yes they are and was calculated as pgExcept nicotine and flavoring make up part of the final ratio. I'm guessing they're both PG.
I'm presently very glad I'm all VG except for flavoring.
Thank you much, That's what I got too but didn't know if it was right.Got it (I think)!
For a target of 60%PG/20%PEG/20%VG in a 5mL batch:
using:
6% PG flavor (0.3mL)
10% PG nic (60mg/mL nic) (0.5mL)
counting as 16% of the total PG desired... (1.3mL)
leaves
44% of plain PG (2.2mL)
6%+10%+44%=60% Good so far.
20% PEG (1.0mL)
20% plain VG (1.0mL)
60%+20%+20%=100% Winner!
Final recipe is :
0.3mL flavor
0.5mL PG nic
2.2mL plain PG
1.0mL PEG400
1.0mL plain VG
See; you DO know math!Thank you much, That's what I got too but didn't know if it was right.
You wince if you could see my thought process.....LOL.See; you DO know math!
Where you taste sweet, I taste cream....no sweet.....Should be an interesting test. The Hazelnut and Cream is a sweet flavor. Very curious to see if an all PEG mix would make it less sweet.
Where did you get that calculator?View attachment 752803
6mg is 10% of 60mg. So, 10% of your final volume (regardless of size) should be your 60mg nic. 10% of 5mL is 0.50mL.
I had to do it long hand. EJC doesn't have the capacity to factor in a third carrier in any of the simple calculators. I contemplated plugging in water, in place of the PEG (as a regular recipe); but I was going to have to re-teach myself how that does/doesn't affect the overall ratios, and I just wasn't up to it.Where did you get that calculator?
I see where I goofed. I was counting percentage of target bottle for nic % for the total pg not the source....duh......I had to do it long hand.
