Random DIY mixing and More

Bourbon bitters sounds interesting, I don't think I've ever heard of this before in drink recipes. I do like a good whiskey sour or Amaretto sour, like to have an e-juice recipe for these. I tried many, many times to replicate this in vaping form, but it always lacked something. Good sour mix has egg white powder, I think that's where it was lacking, but it could be that bourbon bitters might be the missing ingredient.

Have to admit I have the most curiosity about the Bitters. It is my first try in a recipe.

The flavor I’m using is VT Bitters. FLV has a Bitters flavor also and Amaretto Sour. I may have to get those.

@hittman When I did the pudding mix I almost mixed it with Rhubard or Acai I was so sure it would be too sweet for me. Instead, I took a look through my fruit list and picked JF Strawberry/Kiwi. I also dropped the pudding to 3% flavor. I think I will up my next mix to your 4% and pick a better fruit/fruits to use.

As you know, I use it with pomegranate but have meant to try branching our with different fruits.

Only things holding me back on tropical try #2 is Pineapple, and a non-funky mango. I tried one pineapple during @hittman 's unused flavor game, but it was not what I was looking for. Mango is funky IRL, so maybe a non-funky one is not what I'm looking for. Maybe I'll try a different fruit, like papaya.

Appalachia would be easier. I have TFA red oak and maple syrup, FA whiskey, a very small amount of little space drop and DNB, the pine note is something I'm sure I have but can't remember what it is. No gin flavors, that would do it. Hmmm, I need to look through my flavor boxes.

Wow, FLV back bar bitters is $9.48 at BCF for 15mL! Not one I'll be buying. VT bitters is more reasonable at $3.99, Amaretto sour is $6.49, still a little pricey but better than back bar bitters.

I'll get the VT bitters, not sure about the others.

I just woke up. I'm glad I slept. I feel not terrible and my fever is gone. I am hoping it's the Z-pack kicking in but I'm still gonna call for a dr appointment to get checked out when I can marshal the energy (probably 20 minutes.) My o2sats are like, 98. Eh. Some albuterol stopped any coughing and my lungs don't hurt I'm just tired. They didn't go below 96 o/n.

I feel dumb going to the hospital and saying I was a mess but oh, yesterday, which is why I'm gonna try and get a PCP appointment but I have had Z-packs fix pneumonia before. But I will go, so I can at least get cleared.

This is good , but it is also irritating in a way it's like better/worse better/worse. If it gets WORSE again I am taking me to Bisbee or SV hospital I already packed a bag because I am sick of it.

Was hoping I'd feel better but I have had surprisingly favorable responses to Z-packs before especially since they gave me eleevntly jillion of them as a kid for sinusitis. But it will be doc, anyway, and hospital if necessary.

K I got an appointment for 2 tomorrow and I can get an X ray read like right away. Hopefully I continue to get better but if not it will be hospital time. Joy.

but in all seriousness,don't be dragging your feet on this ok? gotta promise to do whatever you need to do to be healthy...

I waited one day too many when I had pneumonia, resulted in weeks of inpatient hospitalization that may have been avoidable. The culprit, avoidance of hospitals (likely for similar reasons). Get well soon Anna, I'm rooting for you.
