If you don't like how it smells fresh I'd say at least a week, maybe two for it to not be what it smells like fresh.

It wasn't that long in the mix, the 15ml of that may not make it far beyond 2 weeks. My 30ml is almost at 1 week.

I've only used TFA Strawberry until now. It worked so I stuck with it.
OK,I will give it 2 weeks. I have enough testers mixed ahead of it to keep me busy. 1 or 2 is my comfy limit for trying testers per day. It's almost time to try my first testers of Kiwi's and Poms. Figured on those at 10 days.

Strawberry when finished changing(fully steeped) will be yellow or a golden color.

    :)

It being so drastic in TFA Strawberry is why I started waiting. I did put a little in my tank of the old mix just to see how Smooth helped. I think it might take away the bite. It is lessened and I have a lot of wick to take over.

TFA Strawberry has ethyl alcohol in it. That's most likely where "the bite" is coming from. Let the EA evaporate off when you use it in a mix, and it'll be fine, IMO. No Smooth is needed to try to lessen the bite then.

I personally like to use both TFA Strawberry + TFA Strawberry Ripe together...with the greater % being the Ripe.

Smooth has taken that bite from a couple of my fruit mixes. I have a new mix I like a lot . I decided to mix guava, mango and tangerine(all Cap and all have sweet in their name) and its a great vape for summertime. Gotta be careful of the tangerine and not use too much or it takes over the mix and the bite is so strong it surprised me. I was expecting a sweet type of flavor and that is not what I get. So after lowering the tangerine % twice, it still had somewhat of a bite and Smooth really did straighten it out to an acceptable vape. So far, I have only put the Smooth(as 2 drops) in my 4ml tank. Getting ready for making a finished bottle.....

TBH, I had forgotten about Smooth(and that I had a bottle) until ya'all started talking about additives here in the thread. Thanks everyone, it really did help.

My TFA Strawberry Ripe is almost gone and I really don't know about getting more. I'm not a strawberry snob and though I like it it's not my top fruit anymore. I have several Strawberries to use up,INW Shisha Strawberry,FA Juicy Strawberry,RF Strawberry,Cap sweet Strawberry,OSDIY Succulent Strawberry.
I'll probably just use up what I have but if you could only have one Strawberry,What would it be?

I really like tfa strawberry ripe in mixes. I've got several other strawberry flavors that I haven't even tried in a mix. I bought some of the succulent strawberry and used it solo for a while and it's really good but I haven't tried it in a mix yet.

My NR order was just delivered; so now I have all my 4th of July purchases. I now have to update my calculator inventory, and then its time to do the organizer overhaul. Wish me luck!:D

@ 2.5% was were I got the first acceptable vape with a bite to it. More than that it just takes over the whole mix. I am thinking of lowering my final mix to 2%. I used the other 2 flavors @ 5%.

    :)

eta.... you could also add WS-23 for a taste of cool.

There's been plenty of talk about storage and organizing flavors but I'm wondering if people also have a system for storing steeping recipes? Do you put them in date order or something like that?
If they aren't snv they go into a box until I remember I mixed them. Sometimes I actually put the reminder in my phone calander.

INW Strawberry Shisha is one flavor I could never live without. NEVER

I can live without TPA Strawberry (Ripe). I have a dribble here left in a bottle and I haven't touched it in over a year.

I have that too. As Strawberry isn't my #1 fruit I'm not that fussy about it. Until I find one I don't like............

Until recently, I had always mixed pretty high flavor percentages and was almost always shake and vape or if I was lucky one would sit overnight. Right now I think I have over 30 single flavor testers steeping. I'm looking forward to trying the two HS tobacco flavors you suggested. It's been nine days steeping already. I think part of the trick to steeping is to constantly have something else ready to try to distract me from wanting to try the ones that need more time. This thread has really helped me expand my thoughts on mixing and try some flavors that I probably wouldn't have otherwise.
Something magical happens to tobacco flavors at around a month. Some I have tried become something altogether different. I make large batches when I do tobaccos. My favorites I make at least a couple momths worth. The end of the batch is always the best.

I agree tobacco defiantly benefits from steeping. Speaking of that,I've had my first mix with Soho sitting for quite some time. What's the recommended steeping time on that?

Thanks. It's steeped way over 10 days already. I'll let you know as soon as I try it.
