Pretty much all my mixes need something for a base. I can’t vape a just fruit recipe even if it tastes pretty good it just isn’t for me.
I totally agree... don't do fruits (or even combinations of fruits) on their own. Something creamy, bakery, or even butter mint to add some (actually can't find the right word to use... complexity, balance, complimentary flavors) Maybe some can explain it better than me. It's kinda like eating a peach (yes, wonderful on it's on) but add some cream (or ice cream), bake it in a pie, put it in some cereal w/milk and it takes that peach to a new level (there, I think I explained it well using a real world example)

I have the Snails thread and the NotCigs refugee thread which are both in the Lounge
I love to pop in the "old folks porch swing threads" once in a while... very nice bunch of people there (and I'm almost 60 so fit right in)

I mixed a yummy light citrus last night that I found on ATF.
That (CA) Sweet tangerine is kinda candy flavor but I still like it (I combine it with other oranges and it seems to help)
Also, it goes great with dark chocolate ;)

I don’t consider cream or such things as a base. For myself I need more of a real base, such as biscuit, graham, cereal etc.

Even though I want my blueberry menthol to just taste like blueberry and menthol, adding Sweet cream FW or CAP seems have done the trick ever since I started mixing it. It's so subtle you really can't tell it's there, I could probably even up it.
Can you actually taste the blueberry in that?

Yes, even with .5% menthol more than I wanted. 8% blueberry cap, 7% blueberry extra tfa. I'd even like to have more blueberry lol, so I might add blueberry FW. Definitely going to decrease that menthol though, it's more than I want. I like it to be "cool" but not menthol-y

I could probably up the blue raspberry cotton candy CAP a smidge too. But as is I really like it.

Ok i need to pick someone's brain.

Was just browsing the chefs website for aromas and a thought came up,more like a question.

So ok,is there like a group of basic ''aromas''?
Like for example all the aromas like churro, cookies, cheesecake would go under the ''sweet'' tag.
Then orange, lime, grapfruit etc would be under the ''citric'' tag

So for now and from what I've seen around this is what i came up with:

    Sweet
    Citric
    Fruity
Drinks (anything from Coke to Piña Colada)
    Tobacco

Is there any ''tag'' i might have missed?

I guess with that much blueberry you should taste it. I’m thinking I’m a bit blueberry blind.

Have you tried ws23? It's a cooling agent.

I would a base tag for such things as cheesecake, graham, crackers cereal, biscuit etc

Good evening mixers. I don’t know if my tastebuds are on strike or what. I don’t taste the orange at all in the sunshine recipe. I get the lime and a faint citrus note. Maybe fruit mixes without a base just aren’t for me.
For me, it's a fairly subtle blend of lemon, lime, and orange.

Was going to try the yogurt recipe Fran shared. Couldn't. My dog was chasing cat through the house and dog upended my bottle. Mess cleaned and mixed a new batch. Dog and cat. But it was funny. :D
Better that it was just e-juice and not a mod/tank ;)

I guess you put those under your sweets but to me they’re not sweet.

Ok but ''tag'' wise I'm not missing anything right?
Just want to start with the basics for now, specially interested in some of the drink flavored aromas, this looks like it could be tasty:

    Almond Amaretto - TFA

Big fan of the ''Godfather'' (Amaretto with Whisky and some orange zest),wondering if i could make the vape version.

Now that i think of it...I HATE ALL OF YOU!!

First with the Shinyitis support group and the picture of your setup threads,i already own 2 mods and 2 atomizers and now i got another mod on my mind...

And on top of that now i have the DIY thread which is taunting me,like Ricardo Montalban said in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan:

He tasks me. He tasks me and I shall have him! I'll chase him 'round the moons of Nibia and 'round the Antares Maelstrom and 'round perdition's flames before I give him up!

    *sigh*

Ok so i guess I'm hooked on new mods/attys and DIY....you're all to blame!!
