    Somewhere between here and there
The same thing happened to me, except I went for the set it and forget it strategy. My FT package was in China for well over a month, but I didn't send any messages. It was always in pre-shipment or whatever it was.. package purgatory. Then I look one day and lo and behold, boom, it's in Chicago.. and now being delivered today.

I was fine at a month but after almost two months and no tracking update, I had enough.

    Afternoon Mixologists,

Gonna have to mix up more Lime sft, love love love that flavor. It's my favorite.

Bought the voopoo drag S last night, looks like my Aegis pod on steroids feature wise. 2500mah battery vs 800, 60 watt vs 18, fully adjustable. Can do draw activated, something I haven't tried. Really looking forward to it!

. I know you can find them.

Oh, I found them alright. I am going to die. I called every property management specialist I could find and like, it's INSANE. First, no one wants to do short term leases because they do not HAVE to unless they are renting a hovel or somewhere that is a 5 hour round trip drive to my home. I called them ALL. Some townhomes were mildly promising but I REFUSE to like, rent one for 12 months when I like, may be buying a house in 3. The husband called all frazzled and *I* called all frazzled and I was like, "Dude, I think we are gonna have to eat it, and we are going to have to Air BNB.

Only, even THAT was like insane NO ONE wants pets, for whatever reason (maybe the bears eat them) dogs don't seem to be considered objects that live outside. I would LOVE for my dog not to be eaten by a bear but like, he can't be inside without doing HORRIBLE things and I don't want to pay someone cuz he sprays everywhere. It's not tenable to do that to that dog for 3-4 months.

The only "pet friendly" place I could find (25 minutes from work) is like a SHARED living situation man REALLY. At least it had its own unshared bathroom, WV is SO SMUG about bathrooms, fences, and the lack of rental housing generally (there is a severe LACK) and well, it sucks SO MUCH that often people will rent out a ROOM with a SOFA bed for like 1000 a month. Seriously. Maybe I SHOULD just look at hotels or extended stay places but HOLY MACKEREL. No, Air BNB person I am not sharing my most SACRED space with you in order to like, poop. NO NO NO NO.

I really should check. Just perhaps not this second. OMG. This is going to royally suck unless the husband pulls something out of his .... which he may well do he is gifted with housing. I am SO NOT.

So that was a HORRIBLE morning he is getting here soon. Man, I'd rather stay in a motel 6 or even a no name place and get the camping gear out for food and whatnot. Oy.

Then I called my pdoc he is working on my meds. He better get em done man......

Oh Jesus. Husband coming soon. That's nice I told him it was a hellhole hovel in here and it still stinks. I think it's the trash cans now. He said he would call before he left because like, I was like "I WILL TRY TO CLEAN A BIT." But I am a MESS.

I really don't want anything overly sweet. I just want a good blueberry flavor.

I made a really good blueberry juice recently. I tried the first version a week ago and it was good but it had too much koolada so I made another batch without it. Now we are talkin' blueberry!
This is a recipe from ID10-T that I found on ATF. He made it extra strong and I love that because blueberry is so delish, but it's always such a faint flavor. Give this one a try sometime. I'll post my version below, which is the same as the original except there is no Koolada or WS-23 in mine and I used Liquid Stevia instead of Supersweet and Chemnovatic Lemon instead of Flavor Express Lemon.

Viserion by ID10-T from ATF ADAPTED

    Bavarian Cream (TPA) 2%
    Blueberry (FW) 5.75%
    Blueberry Extra (TPA) 2.75%
    Dragonfruit (TPA) 4%
    Lemon (Chemnovatic) .25%
    Liquid Stevia .25
    Vanilla Swirl (TPA) 3%

I am good at BUYING housing. Not this RENTAL mess. Although I FINALLY found a pet friendly apartment complex that will let you rent for month to month or whatever. There are decks and/or covered porches and whatnot I think it will be our best option. GOD KNOWS I have explored everywhere else. The husband can play with the dog and well, take him for walks, he can be outside SOME of the time, and he can be caged inside some of the time. It sorta sucks but it is also the only real option honestly.

Ok you should probably go with that. Assuming you will be able to buy a house when you find the one you want it wouldn’t hurt to start looking.

I wish I had more topfill doggy style tanks. I accidentally bought the wrong ones. However, I BARELY trust FT to get to MY address let alone have the PO forward it.

Oh well maybe we will have a place to stay soon I SURE hope so. I am going to call that realtor again soon and ALSO look for renter specialist realtors.

I see several things on Craigslist I THINK would suit but somehow renting from Craigslist sight unseen seems like a SUPER BAD plan. IDK.

Did you try looking on Zillow, Trulia or Realtor for rental houses? Those are the best sites for
real estate. Since you want something short term, I would suggest finding houses you like and then contacting the realtor to ask if a particular property might be available for a shorter-term lease. If you still can't find anything, you might look for corporate apartments. They are a little more pricey but you can find them with a short-term lease.

Can you rent or buy a cheap travel trailer or motor home and park it somewhere? I have friends who did that for short term housing.

Yup yup yup. They are all long term leases or won't accept pets. I'd consider the travel trailer but I think the apartment will be best because then we are back to storing stuff and also I don't want to deal with a composting toilet right now although it might be better than "John and his Beagle" who will be "as friendly as you want to be."

I don't like that sentence, Air BNB is supposed to like, be USED when the owners are NOT present. Otherwise, it is JUST called a BNB.

I avoid BNBs like the plague it has ALWAYS been my experience that well, it leads to some sort of offer of 3 some or 4 some (For all I know the beagle may be involved) and then you have to turn it down politely which is ALMOST impossible (I am pretty sure that most BNB owners are sex offenders) and then you spend the rest of the time avoiding John and his beagle and that is hard to do for TWO DAYS let alone TWO MONTHS.

The occupant "Air" BNB is RIGHT OUT.

Then on to the 2'x16'x12" bed for herbs, redo some existing rotting beds I made out of old wood flooring (you can kinda see one in the pic and the orchard square as well), and some more long narrow beds. At some point I'll get a dump truck to dump a pile of gravel for me to play with and surround the bed and paths with it.
