Maybe you could get your son to lend a hand with the house cleaning?
Oh he does! He is taking 7 college courses and I've been helping him in the evenings with his Mechanics of Solids class. This working and schooling from home doesn't help the house situation either. We both just run out of time in our days and nights so nothing gets done until the weekends. :) We are busy people! ;)

Morning, mixers.

Rain continues. Yep, fall in the PNW. Coming up on 3" over the last 3 days, and some of the "usual" areas in the low lands are seeing the first flooding of the season. Nothing major. Yet. But supposed to be clearing up, so they'll get a break. No concerns for us, geography was one of the things I looked at when we bought our land :)

in any case, our offer letter was accepted and well, it's gonna be good.

:rickroll:

Yes, perpetual easement works!

Plans were to pull 2 nets/leads, maybe 4 today. We got 4 yesterday. But then things weren't so smooth today. Here's 1 net and 1 lead and a whole heap of moss. Our boat is leaning quite a bit, the moss weighs a ton(s)

What do you do with all that moss?

If i can i save some for my compost bin. It takes a long time to get it out of our twine, sometimes we put a tarp over it to heat up the moss and dry it out. Sometimes you have to pick what you can by hand, but just handling it over a reel into our net trailer and out of the net trailer (and repeat) a lot falls out. We've put leads inside our building and turned the heat on to dry it out, We've done this and that, even spray it with a pressure washer/fire hose but there doesn't seem to be a surefire way to get it out. It's garden gold though for my compost bin

At least it has a use. Hopefully you can get some.

    Somewhere between here and there
First time ever tried TPA menthol liquid flavouring and dam....it's very nice to vape menthol!!!!....I remember I had tried Marlboro cigs with menthol but I hated it...
But in vaping is awesome....I also tried a bit strawberry with methol also and it's I like it a lot.... Just excited about it and wanted to say it hahahaha

I like menthol and mints. I've used menthol and koolada in a menthol tobacco mix for a long time. I've also been using INW mix mint at 2.5% solo in a pod at work. It's a nice mint flavor.

We are very close to the line, Bentonville. Since we've decide we love the area we plan on buying a house in the next couple of years, homes in Missouri will be included in our search.

I looked up Bentonville and you are very close to Missouri. You are actually closer than I am to where my daughter lives in Springfield.

How the heck do you get the moss off the nets? Flame thrower?

Wow! Thanks for sharing the picture..

I decided I was going to finally change the coil on my Sceptre today. It's worked great and not a drop of leaking to report by the way... Since I was going to clean the pod itself I opened up one of the new pods I have on hand. I wasn't aware the pods themselves come with two coils, a 1.2 and a 0.5. I was surprised and impressed.

I didn't know that. I'll have to check a spare pod.

YEP - Actually I though you both already knew that - there are 2 of them 1.2 & .05 with each POD . . . So, depending how many you have and if Ya' not going to use the 1.2 coils let me know, maybe we can work something out . . .

    Just a suggestion . . . ;)

I'm in Missouri. Been here since 1992. I like it.
I wondered who took our spot in the state census when we left . We loved living up there, except for the snow. Snow is evil

Youngest has foiled my plans for a day of mixing. She’s headed over here for help on a project

In KC the snow usually isn't a lot. It seems like one out of every three or four years we get a lot of snow. Some years it's not even enough to get the snowblower out.

I'd like to explore Missouri more, but every time I go through I'm on my way down to Texas and in a hurry. Usually stop in Cameron for a bite to eat before KC, and take the toll road bypass of KC. Seems like, from what I've read, KC has a lot to offer and I'm sure the rest of the state does too. Can't really tell from the small slice I drive through on the interstate.

I lived in SW MO many moons ago. Last place I lived was Ozark which is near Branson. It was tough trying to make a living in the area. We had to move to WI in order to find decent jobs. However, I miss the backwoods feel and friendliness of the locals. Springfield has grown. My family lives there.
