He is something else. We love him to death... Things have gotten better with the mom-in-law... I think they were just growing pains of sorts. (knock on wood)

So I took my list of holiday flavors from my stash and searched elr for recipes. I came up with 7 new adaptations of recipes and one remix of the gingerbread recipe. I think I'll start mixing now. That will give me 800 mls so I won't have to worry about mixing for about a month or so. I haven't used most of these holiday-ish flavors. I adapted the recipes with close substitutes or just left off flavors because I refuse to buy any more flavors for a while. They'll be close enough.

If i can i save some for my compost bin. It takes a long time to get it out of our twine, sometimes we put a tarp over it to heat up the moss and dry it out. Sometimes you have to pick what you can by hand, but just handling it over a reel into our net trailer and out of the net trailer (and repeat) a lot falls out. We've put leads inside our building and turned the heat on to dry it out, We've done this and that, even spray it with a pressure washer/fire hose but there doesn't seem to be a surefire way to get it out. It's garden gold though for my compost bin

Put a herd of goats on it. Of course then you have the issue of dealing with a herd of goats.

@FranC was it you who was talking about the Lemon Cream Wafer by CNV? If so, what was your thoughts on it?

I bought it back in September, but not tried it in anything, not been mixing as been working weekends for a few months, this be my 1st full weekend off and thinking I want to try a lemon custard, and that's the only lemon I got.

I do have it, mixed it at 6% I think and I like it. I can taste both the wafer and the lemon. It has more of a lemon taste than the cake does. I believe @hittman has it also. I would think it would be good in a Lemon Custard.

So I made my 7 recipes. I’m set for a little while. And I used some new-to-me flavors. I think I’m ready to use up some flavors from brands I don’t have much of. LA, FW, etc. I just want to keep 4 to 5 brands. Get my stash smaller. And I typically buy no smaller than 30 ml, and sometimes 2 to 4 ozs of my favs, so I’ve got a lot of juice!

Can't wait til my daily life is a bit more normal.. schedule wise. I'd like to do a bit of mixing.. and I'm going to need to do a lot of perusing. There's been quite a lot of good recipes at first glance for a while.

Our boy Kai who passed away a couple of months ago was the same. At one point during his growth both ears were floppy and I figured they'd never stand up. Then this happened at 17 weeks:

Him being my first GSD, I thought maybe his ears were going to be disproportionate to his head. lol
But then at about 10 months of age:

He was a very tall GSD, 29 inches at his shoulders. This was my boy shortly before his sudden, unexpected death.

In the picture above he was waiting for my wife to get back from her business trip. She was gone for two weeks. She got back on Wednesday and he passed two days later. I still miss him so much.
