Well, that's what the website says anyway that once it reaches the warehouse then a refund will be issued. It's unclear as whether we will be charged a small fee for extending the rental period or not. If it is charged it should be a small fee since the whole rental was only $33.
    I hope so.

Morning, mixers. More rain here, and the snow is staying way above us.

Darn, all you people waiting for an empty tank just need more tanks ;)

    Careful with that coding!

Learning coding doesn't have to be for a profession, many people learn to do it to make webpages, games, apps for their own benefit and fun.

I definitely don't know as much as many people do about coding. But...it was fun using it when I used to sell on eBay. I liked being able to design my item listing pages, so they'd appear the way I wanted them to, instead of the basic eBay page. I never got into making games, apps, etc.

I already have another tank/juice sitting. I really don't want to break out another PV.....or tank.

I started off the old fashioned way, with a book. Python Crash Course, and then yesterday and today I bought two more books on Javascript, and HTML & CSS. Learning coding doesn't have to be for a profession, many people learn to do it to make webpages, games, apps for their own benefit and fun. I'm not terribly far into this rabbit hole, but I'm hooked! I find it fun.

Good morning, all. Nothing special planned for today. My daughter wants me to make a holder for her stamp pads so I guess I should make a list of what O I will need to get at Home Depot. I'm currently reading the first book of Dexter and Dexter has premiered on Prime this month. I may watch a couple of episodes.

this would be so much funnier if I told you all the other professions/trades I've dabbled with. It's a good list. Jack of all trades, master of none.. yet

Once you get into them more, I'd like to know the titles if you like them. I may go look for that python book.

so far, I really like the Python Crash Course. It was highly reviewed on amazon and elsewhere. It's a good read, and makes it easy and fun. I think where you learn the most is these "try it yourself" exercises, and apply what you've learned. It's the #1 best seller in various categories

This is a free website where you can practice using HTML coding. Lots of eBay sellers used to use it to get their listings exactly as they wanted them, and then just C&P it all onto the item listing form on eBay.

    HTML practice

This is another fun webpage to use...for color selections, shades of various colors, saturation of colors, etc. We used it to help us make custom text colors, borders, backgrounds, etc.

I'll post one for you. Have to still decide which of 2 guys I'll choose from to do it. It's still the original 2-tone Medium Regatta Blue Metallic and Silver Metallic, with the Blue below and above the Silver. Still looks good enough that even for the last 10 years...1 or 2 strangers every month or so will ask me if I'm interested in selling it. Has happened at gas stations, stopped at a light on a 4 lane highway, in line at McDonald's and Burger King drive throughs, in the bank parking lot, at the PO, etc. Can't decide if I want it redone in the original colors (since they're both still available) and the same striping (since I have a new OEM stripe kit for it)...or change them up a bit. Since it's an antique now...is it more desirable to have it redone in the original colors and striping, with maybe a higher gloss finish? Or do something a little different...maybe more metallic or no metallic, or different shades? I can't decide. The interior is still in great shape and is the original color. What do you think?
Thanks. Can't wait to see it.

If it was mine, knowing it's an antique, I would have it redone in the original factory colors and striping. Higher gloss would be cool. But I think I would lean more "factory".

Thanks for your input. That's exactly what I was thinking, too. But...I've never had an antique car before, so thought I'd see what others thought. I know when I go to the Car Shows here in the downtown park every month Spring-Fall, that those people are real "sticklers" for everything being as close to original as possible.
