    Somewhere between here and there
White Z80 and Boxx are still vacationing in Mass.

Have you checked the tracking on your BOXX lately? Mine is due to arrive today.

I just finished mixing Fig Newtons #0001 for scientific research.

    10mls 70VG/30PG 6mg nic

    JF Yellow Cake 2% 0.2g
    FA Cookie 0.5% 0.05g
    FA Milk 1% 0.1g
    FA Fig Fresh 1.5% 0.15g
    VTA Fig 0.5% 0.05g
    FA Blood Orange 0.5% 0.05g
    TPA Brown Sugar 0.25% 0.026g

Note: Per TFA/TPA, Brown Sugar and Brown Sugar Extra are one in the same.

I looked and I don't have any fig flavors so I'm going to wait for your thoughts before I go ordering any. thanks for all of your scientific research.

It’s a frigidaire induction top with a convection oven that has an air fryer setting. It has both self and steam clean modes, which I’ve never seen before. Her kitchen is really small, so she’s always wanted a smooth top range. The last induction top doesn’t get hot, so safe for the littles when they come. Fancier than anything I’ve ever had. She’s excited about all the bells and whistles.

That sounds awesome! We had the same builder's grade electric range for about 17 years and then a few years ago splurged and bought a flat top with two ovens which we always wanted.

I appreciate your commitment to the scientific community.
Thanks. Here is a photo taken when I felt the Force of the completed Fig Newton mix.

Nerdy lab coat, stupid gloves, tie, dress shirt and safety glasses already removed. Silver hair thingamabob was a wig, didn't want my real hair flying all over my clean room lab. Back to tank top, cutoffs and flipflops. Hair let down, but too hot, tied up in back.

The tall graduated cylinder with the light golden liquid is the Fig Newtons mix. Yes, yes, I know my mixing lab looks scientifically cool. It is. :D

Shucks!!! I should have came in much earlier.... Isn't that the way it works though? I have been running around like a chicken with it's head cut off lately. Wife is back on the business travel trail and only home on weekends. Between my job, daughters' soccer and band practice sessions, I barely have time for a cup of coffee. LMAO I actually got smart last night before bed and put a pork .... in the slow cooker overnight. Wife is flying in from Ohio at 5pm and we are going to the brewery for a much needed beer.

    I miss everyone...

Very nice! What a great thing to be able to give to her.

She’s due for one. I think they got this one in ‘66 when they built. I’m just amazed it still works. It’s been only recently that two burners went out. We tried to fix it by replacing them, but nope. Can’t say she didn’t get her money’s worth out of it.

I need a couple things. I think I’ll c/p Frans list and check FJ tonight when I’m not on my phone

I'm sorry she left Serious Eats.

P.S. I need to get VTA Fig.
Oh. I did not know that. Guess I don't stay that up-to-date on who's where. Well, at least a bunch of her recipes are still there. Where did she go?

I have her book, BraveTart: Iconic American Desserts, on my iPad and iPhone. It's really good for vape juice ideas. :D

But of course, all in the name of science.

It wasn't just for Fig Newtons though. I needed to get some cat litter, butter...

.........I pray @Butch is sitting down......... I nearly ran out of COFFEE!!!
    :censored:

But fear not, the coffee is securely in the house.

I went all out this morning and made myself a caramel macchiato..:)

I was going to keep my mouth shut, but I just can't any longer.

Let me first say that I'm not "sticking up" for Vaper1960. I don't know what really takes place at his house, what his Mom will or won't let him do for her, nor the type or extent of his mother's dementia and how those things affect their interractions.

However, I'm certain that no one knows what it's truly like...living with, loving, and honestly trying to help, an elderly parent who has dementia or Alzheimer's...until they've been there, done that. IF the parent is still physically mobile and able to do things for themselves...it's common for them to resent it and/or even get very angry...if anyone else does those things for them, or at times even offers to! It's seen by the parent as trying to take away some of what little control they still have left over their lives. Having their finances taken care of for them and driving them everywhere...are 2 of the most difficult for them to deal with. It's also often the person who's closest to them physically and emotionally, who's helping them the most, or trying to...who catches the brunt of their frustrations, anger, accusations, outbursts, etc. Like I said earlier...no one knows until they've been there, done that.

IMO, sometimes people "open up" here about things that maybe they shouldn't...because it's usually a given that it'll result in a variety of responses, whether they're wanted ones or not. Also, sometimes it's just TMI. I can think of a past member right away, about that. But, if there are no close friends, family, or other people...the poster feels comfortable telling about it............;) It seems to be sort of a catch-22.

    Well said . . .

    BEEN THERE DONE THAT ! ! !

That would make a good vape juice. What ingredients did you use to make yours?

Starbuck's Caramel Macchiato is made with vanilla syrup, steamed milk, espresso and caramel sauce.

    COPYCAT STARBUCKS CARAMEL MACCHIATO

Tania's Cooktoria site is another one I have bookmarked for dessert juice ideas.

I used espresso, heavy cream (not milk), and caramel sauce.

I didn't use a vanilla syrup because I used a caramel sauce which I put vanilla in and the mix didn't need more sweet..
