I was a day behind when I asked about Anna… in case I don’t get through today’s posts before bed, we’re heading back to NOLA tomorrow morning. Hoping electricity won’t be out for too long after we get back. Honestly, don’t want to go back yet. But, Himself has work. Today was buying groceries to haul back since everything is in short supply at home. If I have decent cell service, I’ll catch up tomorrow night. If not, save me all the good recipes!

What are you random folks up to this evening?

Just finished packing most of the car. I had a blah mix that I think after checking the recipe I didn’t adjust the bottle size up. Before I evacuated, I *hastily* added randomly yes we cc, apricot and nectarine. I couldn’t access online, so I guessed. Been vaping it the whole time here. Of course, it’s delicious, and I would bet my bottom dollar in my get out of dodge panic I made no notes. I’ll work on that next week

I can tell I am not quite awake yet. When you said Wranglers I thought "what the hell do jeans have to do with a Jeep".

Those are my favorite jeans. I kept complaining to myself, since no one else will listen, though I'm a good listener especially if I'm talking, about how Levi's are too low slung so if I'm kneeling down in the supermarket reaching to the lowest shelf, or kneeling down to praise my favorite girls which is what they deserve, I gotta keep pulling them up. Wranglers are higher slung. Great pants.

I had a new issue when I pulled out of the garage this morning. Half of my tachometer lights were flickering. I'm just glad it's a company vehicle and I don't have to pay for the repairs. I dropped it off and the guy said he's going to need it overnight so he can work on it tomorrow too since there are a few different problems. I'll be driving our beater chevy pickup home tonight. Less than excited about it. They use it for small deliveries and have a plow for it for snow removal. Luckily I won't be driving it with the plow on.

When I lived in VT I had an S10 truck with a plow for the driveway.
And, you're absolutely right. No fun at all to drive around with the plow on!!

When I lived in VT I had an S10 truck with a plow for the driveway.
And, you're absolutely right. No fun at all to drive around with the plow on!!

It’s a 3/4 ton Chevy Silverado with a Vortec engine. It’s a little beat up and has a headache rack behind the cab. It’s a rough ride but beats walking.

I did go ahead and mix the strawberry custard subbing lemon for the lime. I have high hopes but only did 15ml this time. I think I’m getting low on the raspberry custard now. I should probably go ahead and mix a bigger bottle of that. I think I did 40ml last time.

Another one bites the dust. We have a handful of people at work that won't get the vaccine which is completely their choice but today we had another person call in with Covid symptoms and is going to get tested. That's two out of 12 employees. Both who got it recently have not had the shot.

I went in and got my booster today. I hope I don't have any adverse immune responses.

The storm petered out and lost its oomph once it got closer to the wall of cold known as Lake Michigan. Had buckets of rain. Lightning show was cool. Thunder was awesome. Carli dog and I sat on the couch in front of the picture window and watched.

Where I live (North of you) I ended up only getting barely 1/4 of a inch. Life in a basin..
