Cripes! I just found out my rent has gone up another $75 per month. I want to move but it looks like there's no place to move to. I've made initial inquiries about getting pre-approved for a mortgage, but there's no houses really to be had either. I guess for now I'm stuck here, but if I can get pre-approved for a mortgage, I can snap up something when it comes available.

I read last week that the housing market has started to turn around, not so much a seller's market going forward.

My Daughter-in-law just had their house sold out from under them and they had a heck of a time finding another house to rent since they need a BIG house (bunch of people there). They finally found one for $2700/month. Per Month. And you have to sign a year long lease. That's over double our mortgage and they get nothing to show for it, like paying off a house does. Lousy credit has killed her and prevents her from buying.

I saw on Nextdoor today someone was complaining that their rent up 150 last month on a rental house and it was going up another 150 next month. I wouldn’t rent month to month like that. I’d want a lease with a fixed price.

    That’s just terrible.

I successfully drilled out a few of my EHPro KFL+V2's. Drilled out both the air tube, and the side air inlet holes. I think I used a 5/64th drill bit, if I remember correctly (been a while). Used a drill press.

I drilled them out. Blew out with compressed air, then ran 'em in the USC for a bit. Then put them back in the box, and stored. There's a trick to drilling out the air tube. Fold a piece of rubber around it, and then hold the tube / rubber combo in some vice grips. The rubber allows the tube to float just a bit. That way, the drill is following the original hole. Avoids alignment issues.

Worked great. Increased the air flow as intended. Air screw adjustment screws still functional.
I wish I had a drill press. I'd give it a try! Mine are EHPro, too, not a big investment, but I sure liked them.

And the good thing about a mortgage, as long as you get a fixed rate, it doesn't ever go up. If I do end up buying a house, at first my housing expenses will be higher, but in a few more years, at the rate they increase the rent here, it'll be the same or lower. Granted, taxes and insurance do go up, but not the rest.

I got lazy when I did DIY and bought a labeler but after using it a few times wound up just writing on the bottle with a Sharpie. Then I'd just make the same thing in that bottle the next time!:lol::lol:
I started out labeling by taping pieces of paper to bottles. Then bought this tape that was write on but it didn’t stay on the bottles. Now I use the stick on address labels. They had them at Dollar general for $1 per package.
    I’m surprised you still don’t have a labeler . I love mine.

:D I started with address labels and a sharpie, switched to Brothers labeler, now back to address labels... Labeler is too much work.

I got home today and found a package on my counter that had four Dragbar disposables in it. I had no idea they were coming and normally I turn down reviews on disposables. However, voopoo has always been a great company to deal with so I will go ahead and review them.

I'm supposed to have someone come by my place to fix a leaky toilet and a sticking kitchen drawer, but I don't even know if they are coming today or tomorrow.

Could you send them over to my house when they are done? My house needs a million little repairs--nothing critical, but all annoying little things.
I've been awake since 2:30 and have had 4 cups of coffee already.

    Yikes. Sorry...

That’s why I didn’t get one. My wife has one and I don’t want to have to take the time to type out the names and strengths. Sometimes I just write each flavor and the percentage when I’m doing a simple 2-3 flavor mix to try.

I mix a "base" of my nic (a skosh high), PG (skosh low) and VG (skosh high). Time to mix, put the flavors in the bottle, top with the base, done.

    That's how I mix.

Although a 510 stick would look pretty funny with a KF on top!

That's why beauty rings were invented. Remember those? ;)

That's the problem I'm running into now is on plastic bottles the label doesn't really want to come off. I probably reuse my bottles too many times anyway. I should start tossing some and order new ones again.

That reminds me. I've been trying to order some 30 and 60 ml bottles from FT for years now. They have always been out of stock, ship in 7 days, or some such. :D
