My excitement for the day happened this morning. We were out horseback riding and saw a large male black bear on one of our trails. You can see part of him, look down the trail, see the black, that's him. I tried to pull my smartphone out quicker to get his full body, I wasn't quick enough. We made noise, he ran off, we held up for a bit before proceeding, bear was long gone. Nature... gotta love it.

We had our four GSD's with us, bears are naturally afraid of dogs. My son in law had his glock. A single warning shot will have any bear high tailing it right quick.

I’m glad today is over. I’m going to be sore tomorrow. I see two advil in my future.

The repairmen for my kitchen light didn't come today. I called and asked about it and was told that a new person, who is no longer working there, was the one who told me they would come today. I was informed that it takes 24-48 hours from when I submitted my request. That means they have to come tomorrow. We'll see.

Too bad I'm not nearby. Ballasts are very easy to replace.

I was browsing ATF tonight looking for ideas and found a couple recipes I might try. One has 7-8 flavors so I’m not sure about that one.

Believe it or not, I actually went down and mixed a couple recipes. One is a 555 chocolate mocha I found on ATF and the other was a spur of the moment mix with wild melon, passion fruit and mango, and a couple other flavors. I’m not even going to wait for it to steep. I’ve been craving fruit recipes lately which I normally don’t use much of.

Too bad I'm not nearby. Ballasts are very easy to replace.

That's the one advantage of renting...I don't have to worry about repairs. I just wish they would get to them a bit quicker. The trouble is that this rental company is not in my town and they have properties all over the region. I could probably change the ballast myself, but why should i? I'd definitely take you up on your offer if you were nearby.

I received my Sceptre 2 today, I filled it up and am waiting to try it.

Met with the new doctor today after 20 years with our old one, and he's quite a guy. We talked shooting, knives, poker (he plays where I did last night!) and then he examined me, went over ever ailment I have, went over every medication I take and then went over blood work we provided and explained every test in it. All this took over 1 1/2 hours. Very thorough, seems to be very good. I waited 10 minutes for the appt. and he was in the exam room when they showed me in. My old doc kept us waiting 2 1/2 hours last visit, and that was common with her, that's when we said we need a new doctor. This guy is a keeper. He changed a couple of medications and had a lot of advice about my kidneys. I feel like he pays a LOT more attention to what I say than my old doc - she was just too busy and backed up to pay much attention. Hopefully I'll see this guy for a long time!

Been vaping on the Sceptre 2, very impressive! I am not used to the button in the middle but I'm sure I'll quickly get used to it. It is very nice looking (I got Blue), and so far I love it!

I could never get used to the old one with the button on the side. I like the new one much better.

Good morning mixers. I'm hoping for a better day today at work than I had yesterday. All is quiet so far but it's still early.

I tried the wild melon mix on the way to work and am liking it so far. It might need a little tweaking but it's good enough for now.
