Is it possible that they hold a spot for overnight just in case?

The written instructions say that I'm staying, but I really don't know. Of course, if there's a problem, I'll definitely be admitted, but if everything goes to plan, I think I'll be coming home.

Second Hibiclens shower taken and clean sheets on the bed. I got about an hour before I have to be NPO, so I'm having a little snack of microwave popcorn. I'll then take a sleeping pill with some water, then off to bed.
    Good luck :)

Good morning, plans to work a bit, come home and finish painting some of the corbels on my roof, and then winterize friends house.

The plan today is to try to stay busy and hopefully stay inside as much as possible. It was 68 yesterday morning when I left for work and today it was 29. I have no ambition of doing anything outside today. I do have one more review to post that I finished writing last night. After that I will actually have a whole weekend with no reviews to work on. First time in quite a while. Definitely looking forward to that. Tomorrow I need to put some vape stuff away and try to thin the herd some.

    Good morning folks,
not huge plans for today, pick up a parcel later

Please @Tor R kidnap me and bring me to my ancestral homeland of Norway
Hey hey, do you know where your family came from?
There were many Norwegians who traveled over and settled in the US permanently.
Until the oil boom, we were a very poor country, well, electricity gave us a small advantage industrially, but it was the oil that really made us rich.

    Morning, mixers.

Still running about 10 below average here, one extreme to the other, just as predicted...

That's the guess for the coming week, Maybe some scattered showers, and with the current temps they're actually mumbling about (light) snow down to 500', which could be us, although I expect any of that to be further north.

I don't know off hand, but they came over to MN in the 1800s, same as my Swedish ancestors. Tbh I've actually looked into emigrating to Norway/Sweden, but I don't think my wife could handle the winters... even though she is very Norwegian! What gives!

The winters depend very much on where you live, out on the coast where I live it can hardly be said to be a proper winter, we usually get large amounts, then rain.
    Inland it is winter.

When you read the village books from Norway, many of the population spent a few years in the US, that whole generation is gone now, but all the old people I knew had worked in the US, both my uncles, and my father sailed on the sea for a few years.
Knut Holte, who owned our farm back in the early 1900s, lost his wife and 2 children due to tuberculosis, placed number 3 in one home and traveled to the US to earn money, returned, remarried and had a daughter, and lost wife number two to tuberculosis.
My father bought the farm back in the 60s, and bought a tractor which was the valley's first lol and that really says a lot about how poor Norway was.
