My daughter was a Weird Al fan when she was a teenager. For her 14th birthday, she wanted and got tickets to a concert. She and I went to San Antonio for it. I saw tin foil hats and even a tin foil dress. The joy in it for me was seeing the smile on dd's face!

I'm home now. I'm really sore, but I'm moving around a lot better than yesterday. I saw the doctor before I left the hospital. He told me that he took 1.5 lbs from my left boob and 2.5 lbs from my right. This is a hard way to lose 4 lbs! I still have drains that I have to measure the output 3x a day. I go back to the doctor on Monday. After a day and a half without vaping, I'm back on my nicotine free vapes. Maybe in a week, I'll start back on nicotine. I really miss it.

Wow that sounds like it was a great time and memory! Texas has left kind of a sour taste (circa The Winter, Ted Cruz vacation) in my mouth, but I think I will always be fond of San Antonio. Have you ever been there around Christmas? The Riverwalk is all lit up so pretty.

Yes, I've been there at Christmas time and it is very pretty. Don't let a once in a century storm ruin your opinion of the Great State of Texas. And remember, Ted Cruz is a politician. You can't expect much from them. Unfortunately Texas has it's share of them--Beto is from Texas, although we don't like to admit it. Whatever you'd like to see--woodlands, desert, Prarie, beaches, even a few mountains--you'll find it in Texas. Big cities like Houston, Dallas, Ft. Worth, San Antonio, or little settlements like Fredericksburg or Alpine.

TY Territoo! My hip was just diagnosed as arthritis, so I have not tried anything yet. Hopefully my doc will have options for me after the MRI.

My wife is the same - I didn't think they'd do anything at the ER for the flu and they didn't except run a bunch of expensive tests for nothing. 3 hours down the tubes.

Might have just been doctors doing tests to pad their wallets. On the other hand people die from the flu every day. One of those tests could have caught a major complication developing and saved her life. Guess you'll never know.
