Please explain function of fig. Never had one.
I used to buy a juice that was cucumber/ hibiscus with a touch each of honeysuckle and fig. I think the fig rounded it out as a “warm” rich flavor as the others are “cool” flavors

But what sort of flavor? If it's not unique in some way I most likely don't need it.
Think of it like adding a touch of salt to something sweet when you cook... it rounds out the flavors and sort of grounds them, if that makes sense

Both CB and BB peak my interest. Would you mind sharing how you use these or a recipe?
I have odd taste buds, so mix a small tester. I steeped it for a week, really nice at two . Took 30 ml on vacation and came home with zero ( I took about a dozen 30ml bottles as we had several vapers in the house). For 30 ml: CB 1.2ml, honeydew .6, peach .3 I think a combo of a light/cool with a deep/warm flavor would work if you don’t like those fruits. It just pairs nicely with honeydew. I mtl at high ohms, low wattage. If you dl, adjust accordingly

I like plum and raisin in my tobaccos. I haven't tried prune yet but I heard it is very good in them. The fig has me very intrigued. I think it will add a rich mild sweetness that would be perfect in tobacco recipes.

I tried to find some raisin when I did my last order to try in my tobacco. Didn't find it on ECX, someone mentioned Wizard Labs had it. Unfortunately it might be a bit before I do another order.

What percentage do you use it at? I was thinking low, just to get that raisiny aroma that shows up in aromatic pipe tobacco.

1.5% if I remember correctly. I am out i had a 10ml when I was trying a boba's clone many moons ago. I like it in tobacco. Ducat Gold has raisin in it.

@Letitia Anyone tried this? Orange Cream-TFA

Thinking it might be real sweet??

I don't have your sweet problem but that tastes like a Dreamcicle.

ok I got out my squeeze lemon and added 4 drops in a 30ml mix to cut sweetness. It still doesn't work well for me. I'm not sure if I've ever tried using vinegar before but I'm about to try it.

I'm not sure if sour cuts sweet. I know sweet makes sour tolerable from when I made sour cherry wine dry. Changing the recipe from dry to extremely sweet made it drinkable. But it was still sour, sweet removed the pucker factor, and it was sweet.

I would try bitter if you haven't yet. The beer principle is the same as coffee with no sugar vs coffee with a little sugar.

A dash of salt in my coffee is how I cut down on sugar. If there was an anti-salt that's what FranC needs.

Here's my Orange Cream recipe. I think this dates back to when I was using eGo-C's, it looks like it's way too strong on orange now.

Orange Cream (TFA) 4%
Citrus Mix (FA) 3%
Orange (FA) 3%

Now I'd use less Citrus Mix when I want to boost a citrus flavor that's weak. And I use Orange Cream when I want to mellow an orange bite.

Aroma sells unflavored WTA liquid. Down the page a bit but it's on their website. It's pretty expensive to use straight up in DIY though. What I've been doing is mixing it at about 20% with finished juice at vape time.
I believe thats the one I linked first. Thanks for clarifying! On the second link, in FastTechs forum, a guy said he adds 2-3 drops into his tank. Though it can be pricey, if it works using a few drops per tank, seems it’d last a while. And if it works getting someone off and keeping them off cigs, I’d say it’s worth every penny!

Thanks for sharing as this sounds tasty! I want to try your mix first, before branching out. Who’s flavors are you using?

He liked Cuprian (Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream) for a while, and Fizzy Pink Lemonade lately. He can't seem to stay off cigs and is convinced that tobacco is the answer. I know it isn't but figured I would mix up something for him to try. *sigh* I might try:

2% FA Brandy, 3% JF Honey Peach OR 3% TFA Juicy Peach, 4% TFA Black Honey, 2% TFA Ry4, 3% TFA Vanilla Swirl - it's a start. ¯\_(
I've essentially been using the EM as a sweetener so far and haven't really thought about it having muting properties. What else makes a good sweetener?

Are the raspberries and blackberries you use pretty tart? I found that EM basically turned sour apple into regular apple. I'll want to take some of the tartness off of the berry if it has it. If they have sweetness to them already I probably wouldn't use a sweetener aside from EM.
I use FW sweetner most of the time.

I’ve seen raisin, raisin rum and a raisin tobacco here and there but the ones I remember atm are...

DIY Vapor Supply
Raisin (TDA)

Bull City

I’ve ordered from and love all of these vendors. This last one is basically Nicotine River. NR offers the exact same raisins. Every time I’ve ordered from eLiquid(dot)com, my packages come from NR. I prefer ordering from eLiquid between my larger orders because I always get free s&h, no matter the dollar amount spent.

Good to know! I ordered probably more than I needed from ECX because I needed to get up to $60 to get the free shipping.

Recipe help please. I went low on the jasmine in this first run because it can be really overwhelming. At a week, jasmine stood out. Today marked three weeks, so I filled an empty tank. Dud for what I was going for... it’s a nice fruit vape, but floral is almost gone. It tastes mostly like pear. Yes, I know it’s predominant in the %, but I thought the floral would stay. I made 30 ml with the following ml of flavors:
Pear 1.0
Honeysuckle .9
Honeydew .6
Jasmine .5
