ELR is great. Each recipe you enter has room for notes and adapt or edit options.
I did start there but find I don't always have the time to enter mixes. I will have to make time.....soon...

lol

I have around a hundred scraps of papers with recipes and notes, ELR tools are the only thing that keeps me somewhat organized.

Cap lemon/lime is the secret to making sorbet
I have VT Sorbet Base.
Maybe @PJReid Will tell you about the sorbet.

I haven't mastered the perfect sorbet yet. It was something I was working on before I got sidetracked with cocktail juices. From my experimentation, I think either CAP Lemon Lime OR VTA Sorbet Base will work well. The VTA Sorbet Base has some coolant already added but not enough for my taste.

Most of the recipes out there for Sorbets are actually Sherbets. Sorbets have no dairy. I made a Lemon Granita that I liked but it needs something. If I have time this week, I will play with it.

I was waiting till I had some solid recipes. I’m a two finger typer, so the thought of having to spend the day typing it in is BLEEEEH. It would be nice to be able to search by ingredient instead of digging through bottles though !

@PJReid , AKA "Boozy Wench" at some point if I don't smoke today (got through my first two most stressful tasks without doin' it) I'm gonna ask you about boozy flavors but not on this thread cuz it flows like a river. Actually, it would be okay, I'll just return later and take notes, LOL. Anyone could chime in, it's a motivational tool. I would read backward but I suck at that.

2 MAJOR stressful tasks achieved w/o smoking. LOL.

I use ELR for all my recipes and Flavor Stash list. Also the To Get Flavors shopping list.

Every 2 or 3 weeks I’ll download all of the data to my computer in case of a computer problem or virus at ELR.

Oh, that changes things. You can download all your data? Does it download in a usable format (in case the sight goes down completely)?

In addition to the label, I have a notebook that I use and when I mix a recipe for the first time, I enter it into the book with the date and all of the other ingredients, % to ml etc. I try to write my notes in the margins, but will use the whole page if needed. The date is my key to finding what I did with those mixes. The dates go on the labels of the bottle also. I too mix higher volumes when I find a keeper. But I mix in 120-240 ml bottles so I don't need to mix as often. And then transfer 30 ml to use to fill my daily tanks. This works for me.

    :)
That's pretty much what I do too.

I used to be a hard core coffee vaper. So much so that I extracted my own coffee flavor.

Be aware this is dark, strong and bitter. Requires sweetening, Not sure if I have any recipes left but I'll look later

Use any small container. I use a small canning jar and end up with over 30ml of flavor.

Fill jar half full with ground coffee and then pour the coffee in a coffee filter. Pour just a little PG on the coffee. Put a paper towel under the filter a nuke for 5 sec. Take the coffee filter out and drape it over the sides of a coffee cup. Fill jar half full with pg and pour over coffee. Nuke for 10 sec. Take out and let drain into cup 20 minutes. Lift filter and pour extract into another cup. Drape the filter back over cup and pour the extract over the grounds and nuke another 10 sec. Repeat one more time for a nice strong extract and then let it sit several hours to drain. Pour into bottles.

    Same thing for tea.

So,what is new people? Add anything to your carts today or mix a new recipe?

The aggressive and long 6 hour chemo treatment hubs had Thursday is still kicking his .... but after another day he should start feeling better. I haven't got much of anything done but have tentative plans on mixing a couple tomorrow.

My cart hasn't changed any yet. Time to add or subtract something.

Thank you. I start with 10ml. Easy to multiply up then. If I like it I make 60 and dispense to smaller bottles. It’s easier for me to keep up with it on the bottle. I have paper copies I make notes on, but finding one in the pile is a job. How do y’all organize yours? Mine are all fruits + mixes, so they’re all pretty much the same category. Ones I really like are at the front, then the rest are by highest percentage
    Without my online calculator+ I’d have a mess of a filing cabinet!
