Mixed base and fixed all my tanks (and I mean fixed, not just "take everything out and start over). Interviews good bad, and ugly from F--Monday. I'll see how THAT goes. Less anxious. Was hoping to do testers today but the husband has food poisoning again (it's a semi regular affair, and it usually lasts all day) so I don't know what I will get done but I have base!

Saw the kiddo last night he got a bit sniffly from time to time we were discussing Deep Thoughts (primarily about bio dad). Kid doesn't want contact (I do not blame him one iota) but is also scared that he might die, etc.

Dude, I'm surprised he hasn't done it already, that guy. I just sort of soothingly told the kid that I have his dad's phone number and email and would keep it that way, if he ever changes his mind and GO with him to the funeral if he wanted, but that he didn't need to torture himself by having contact with someone it is both PAINFUL to watch, and painful to be around, and that even if he never contacted his dad, he had tons of other family and etc., and he shouldn't fret it right now, and that he'd be sad if his bio dad died whether he contacted him or not, because deep inside all the substances was a good, kind, and caring individual but it's pretty DEEP inside, and that he had every right to stay away and I supported his WHATEVER choice etc.

Didn't know what quite to say but eh, he seemed comforted. He said I was a good mom, and I did not even trot out my usual line ATM, "If you think I am a good mom well that reflects on YOUR goodness, not mine."

LOL I actually DO think I'm a fairly decent mom, actually.

Poor little thing.

    Somewhere between here and there
I mixed a tester of the tfa cranberry recipe I've been working on and added some of the FE lemon. I'm not sure how long to let it steep. I'm slowly seeing my recipe creep up to the 15-20% range. I'm thinking of trying another cranberry besides the tfa. It just seems like it takes a lot of it before I can really taste it.

I do to and if anyone would like to pray for anything today, please make it the second one with working in the pediatric clinic and the commute! It's not al finances either, it just seemed like such a happy, FUNCTIONAL agency and I investigated them a lot, man. YOU HAVE NO IDEA how rare that is in social work. I would be super joyous.

And yes, I hope I get a good job out of it, too. LOL.

I've got Purilum NY cheesecake and Florida key lime in a atty now and enjoying the simplicity of just the two flavors.

What percentages? I like these simpler recipes myself. Most of my recipes are 3-5 flavors and taste great to me.

Maybe try a pomegranate or red currant to boost the cranberry note. I got the RF pomegranate but have read it is on the sweet side. I like the FC pomegranate I have but it is missing the sharp tang I get from the fruit.

Oh man, I got alls caught up on my emails and applied for more stuff, including something that seemed REALLY sketchy to me, some recruiting event you have to print out tickets for, even though supposedly you have an interview time. I mean, I kept asking about what she had in mind but she towered firm in her desire to "appoint me an interview time," and quite frankly, I haven't been to a job fair since like, High School and I think I went, "Ironically."

But all is done for now, and if I had the means to do it I might audio tape the husband in all his food poisoning glory. Oh I made him a smoothie, but eh, IDK.

Could get flavors out,. but it's also distracting. I'm kinda thinking I may just go bathe. That's always nice, it's out of the way, and etc.

If I don't get a job outta all this, I'm going to hari kiri myself. LOL kidding (mostly). But yes, it's been WAY unfun and WAY longer than I thought.

You know, IDK if I was being placated or nor with the jail place and ALL of me wants to call just to like, KNOW but I shall listen to my sister's sage counsel and wait. LOL. Frankly ANYONE'S counsel is probably better than mine, to my own brain. It's really helpful to have a brain not as quite as attached to my issues as mine.

LOL, pink champagne and gin await. LOL.

NY cheesecake 6% FA Florida key lime 2%. This cheesecake isn't as cheesy as I would like and the lime fades within a week but for a few days it is a very nice vape tho a bit sweet after 4 days. I only mix about 5-10ml of this kind of vape. Next time I will add 1% cold pressed lime as well.

That's what I'm thinking. I bathed, but the moans... Plus he has lapsed into a stony silence he's either dead or asleep but if it's the latter, I'd rather he remain dead for a few hours than wake him up. I can get noisy with my DIY. Figure I will just play/wait/play/wait the cycle that has been not working for me now for about OH 25 days at least. That and I took one of my horse tranqs, and I'm going to bet you ELEVEN MILLION dollars that THAT act would not be good for mixing.

It's not like I have to, I've barely touched my new ones so the newer ones are going to get a bit of a steep, etc. LOL.

3 testers. Pink Panther at 1% ,Saskatoon berries and Apricot at 2%. Have I mentioned how much I hate doing testers??

I can see where they should help me have less failed mixes. You just can't fix sweet in all mixes.

@NolaMel wants to know how the VT Dark Chocolate is so I guess I'll do another sft.
I'm curious as to whether I'll need a dark chocolate at all since I prefer milk chocolates; have read the dark chocolates are very good in coffee mixe tho. Mixed the RF VG brownie in the wee hours and oh my it smells amazing.

I got a few chocolatey flavors that smell good. Smores is one but I only smell the chocolate, same with Rocky Road. I'm going to go through and mix all the stand alone types for tasters.
