@NolaMel I took wide latitude in reworking your recipe:lol:

Cap Toasted Almond 2%
HA Italian Cream 1.5%
FLV Bourbon 1%
TFA Kentucky Bourbon 1%
That looks good!!! I was thinking almond too. I can send you a bit of the smoked butterscotch, if you want to try it. After a long long rest, most of the sweet dies down. I’ll probably drop it %wise in the remix. Or replace with almond. But I have FA. Haven’t tried it yet though

Very nice of you:):) but butterscotch isn't a favorite flavor of mine anyway. The FA Almond would probably be fine also.

I think I’m up to 21 on my wishlist at bcf. I hope they restock the Italian cream before I add much more.
I've gotta look around and see if I can put a small order together. 3 small flavors is just not enough to bother ordering.

@IDJoel At what % did you mix the Stixx
I think I mentioned previously that I mixed a 6 teeters at mfg. maximum recommended percentage. So that translates as:
Aged Burly 6% (3-6% mfg. rec.)
American Virginian 10% (4-10% mfg. rec.)
    H(avana) Primes 9% (6-9% mfg. rec.)
Nicaraguan Seco 10% (6-10% mfg. rec.)
Whiskey Cavendish 10% (6-10% mfg. rec.)
    Turner's Tea 8% (6-8% mfg. rec.)

I don't generally mix max percentage right out of the gate. But, as I was not sure how much closet time these might require; I chose to mix high and dilute with minimal extra aging (hopefully) required. Instead of mix low and age, then have to remix and age again. :)
I have contacted BCF about VTA Botanical Gin and the Tonic flavors. *fingers crossed*
Fingers crossed! Thank you so much for doing that!
@ceeceeisme. Did you find suggested mixing percentage for the Whiskey Cavendish? I mixed mine at 8%. Forget where I found the suggested % though.
Stixx Mixx website said 6-10%. The one review on SM suggests 6% in a mix and 8% as a stand-alone. ELR suggests 5.5-8% based on zero recipes. ATF has just 1 recipe at 3%. :)

Decided I'd better get to it or I'd be left with none aged so remixed 30ml Smokey Amber Plum, and added 1% of FA Black Cherry to a 15ml bottle of it.

Remixed Fuzzy Navel with FA Mandarin instead of FA Orange, straight sub.
Which reminds me, I think the Strawberry Peach bottle is a subbed batch to taste.

Pulled some of the Watermelon I'm trying to use up to refresh and added 8% each of RF VG Honeydew and Pineapple. Trying to lively up my watermelon. If I'm going to be able to taste it in a tank I'll need more interest than a few squonks here or there. It instantly smells a lot more interesting, hopefully I didn't squash the watermelon.

Upped the RF VG Smore to ~15% and I can smell it now. Cherry still isn't smelling much at 15%. Both shake-n-sniff.
I would've used the cherry for the plum mix but I still don't have a good idea of the taste. Not that I had a good idea of anything about the ones I used in the watermelon.

I could've made pickles. I've only got 27 quarts canned.

Have you tried any again yet or going for a longer steep? I went with 5% on the Aged Burley,8% on the Whiskey Cavendish and 6% on the A1.

    Well, that was fast!

    "Hello Pamela,

We are working on getting the whole VT Line, so I will let them know there is interest in these flavors and they will add them to the list. Thank you for the suggestions.

    Thanks,

    Jessica "

My Cool Guava is a bit over my sweet level. Guava Wine was mixed with the PEG base and it's pretty tasty. Peanut Butter Baccy is so-so,will add a bit more PB to it. Thinking my DIY helps to reduce my stress level so onward I go to mix a boozy mix.

2 boozy mixes done, labeled and put away. I actually feel that I accomplished something this morning.:) In another week I'll have a whole new mess of 1 month steeped juice. Still have more to try before the new ones come around so I'd better get to it.

Still haven't got to try the Hangsen Italian cream but my oldest mix with it is now 3 weeks old so it's getting there.
