@PJRed — I mixed a 1 2 3 recipe by ID10-T that uses VT Blood Orange Champagne:

3% VT Blood Orange Champagne
2% OOO Powdered Sugar
1% FA Papaya

It is not a bad flavor. Needs some work to make it an EDV for me and doubt I will invest the time. I don’t know if it was the power of suggestion however I did get a little effervescence from the champagne

I actually tried some of the vapor station flavors. I think it was Whiskey that sent them to me to try. I actually still have a bottle of their VS4. I should have thrown it away as old as it is. I found it by accident in a drawer.

I don’t have the papaya or powdered sugar. I have the sugar on my wishlist but doubt I’ll order the papaya.

Holy goodness I accidentally put some of that one shot "The Donut King'" in one of my doggies. I thought it was banana's foster. If I steep something long enough usually the label is illegible. I have fixed that.... Now.

However, it's actually NOT AWFUL. I could have sworn it would bet terrible forever.

I'm kind of now of the opinion that if you steep something long enough, it becomes good. Seriously! Some stuff is just good but now I kinda wish I had some of my VERY first mixes to try.

    They might win competitions. LOL.

Everything's better when it's NOT SO IN YO FACE.

I think I may be starting to lower flavoring percentages if this keeps up. LOL.

I use it in Frans's fabulous milkshake base. I also use it in a recipe called Holy Sundae that I am enjoying more and more each time I tank it up. Even though it uses HG RY4, it's all Sundae.

    butterscotch ripple FW 1.5%
    Holy Holy Grail RY4 v1 8%
    Vanilla Ice Cream LB 5%
    Vanilla Swirl 2.5%

I steeped it 3-4 weeks. If you do not like sweet eliquids you might want to only make a 10ml tester on this to see if you like it. I don't think it's too sweet at all, but I could totally see others thinking it is.;)

That sounded so good I went right downstairs and mixed 15ml. I had transferred some holy ry4 into a 10ml bottle to make it easier to work with. I started to add the ry4 and noticed it dripping down the side of the bottle. Evidently there was a hole below the tip and it went all over the bottle and scale. I had to start over but got it mixed and transferred the ry4 to a new bottle.

First up is this recipe, who I don’t know to give credit to, but at least I have a screenshot of the recipe! Yay! All too often I wait too long to order and loose my notes or can’t find the source of the recipe. That is something I’m making a concerted effort to remedy.
I’m really excited for this one. I’m assuming it’s minimal steep time since there’s lemon in it? Please correct me if I’m wrong.
Also, I’m assuming at only 0.5% use, the sugar cookie is quite strong?
Here’s the recipe as the screenshot was too large to upload:
    4% cap Italian lemon Sicily
    4% cap VBIC
    2% tfa van swirl
    2% cap van whip cream
    0.5% cap sugar cookie

that's my lemonata ice cream ;) and I used 0.5% purely for a very light crunchy sugar biscuit taste. Add more for a cookie base to it :thumb:

I definitely like sweet ejuice so that shouldn’t be a problem.

As I looked in my vape cabinet last night I came to the realization that I should really hold back on new mixes for a while. I’ve got 20+ sft to try and half a dozen new mixes on top of all the ones I haven’t finished.

I'm kinda in that same boat but the "ones I haven't finished" crowd is getting thinner. I have 16 sft's and a half dozen I want to try again.12 new mixes.

I have been meaning to start mixing my sft in 5ml instead of 10. I usually end up throwing out half or more of my sft simply because I either found out how they taste or don't like them. I did mix a few at 5ml but then reverted back to 10ml without even realizing it.

LOL. I bought a dozen 5ml plastic bottles from ECX awhile back. Can't mistake the size:) I also have a few 6ml glass dropper bottles and several other plastic ones.

Maybe I should get some of those so it would force me to mix them in smaller quantities. However, after the spending I've done the past month or so, I shouldn't be placing orders. I've got two orders sitting in a box that I haven't put away. I also found some flavors that I didn't have on my master list because they don't fit in the polish cases. One was my blueberry extra that I was looking for the other day but couldn't find then stumbled on it when I was looking for something else that was in a stack on case that I'm using for overflow of 30ml bottles.

I can see that working. My notes are below. It could be a good flavor in a mix if you like an orange vape. Sweet orange just doesn't work for me. Pomegranate might tart it up a bit. IDK

Tested at 4% and steeped for a week. The first thing I taste is an artificial orange flavor. The blood orange is candy-like and sweet. There is no tart citrus you would get from the actual fruit. The perception of effervescence is right up there with FW Pink Champagne. They got the champagne fizzy sparkle down. Why ruin that fizzy sparkle with that artificial blood orange though? For me, the sweet orange weighs down the fizzy sparkle but it does come through at 4%. I don't think you will be able to mix around the sweet orange so I see this in a Mimosa or other cocktail. It doesn't have the thicker mouthfeel of the other fizzy flavors so this won't give you much texture or mouthfeel. It is boozier than the other champagnes tested but getting around that sweet orange will be a real challenge.

I got this a week or so ago.https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BWJLZGU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It is deep enough to stand up my 240 ml bottles of base mix. I'm going to use a section for additives. I don't use them often and they don't need to take up space in my cases. It will be no big deal to scoop them out when I need one, there aren't that many. A section or 2 will hold my bottles of base mix, another section for the too tall bottles. I did have plans to re-bottle but that just makes more bottles to fit in my cases unless they are the same size.

Pam, do you have a list of the flavors you perceive as fizzy?

Not really a list but off the top of my head: RF Soda Base, FW Pink Champagne, VT Fizzy Sherbet (I think they dropped Fizzy from the name), and that is about it for me. I don't get much of a perception of effervescence from other champagne flavors (except for the VT Blood Orange Champagne.) For me, FA Aurora also gives a mild perception of effervescence and some all-around magic to cocktails and fruits. Chemnovatic has a Fizzy Additive (I have only seen it at DIY Vapor Supply) that I want to try.

When you try the 10-12 lemonade SFTs, I am very interested in your thoughts.
