Ya’ll would have laughed if you saw me trying to conquer a Genny. I wouldn’t give up and I finally got the best of the dang thing. Once I conquered it I packed it away where I’ll hopefully never find it again.
I made it about a month with my Genny before I sent it out of Dodge on a rail. Rolling those steel mesh coils was all I could take. Sitting there stroking them until the coil glowed evenly. One day I realized this was going backward and not forward. Worst atomizer in my vape life.

Yeah,I went with the ceramic wick. I’ll have to agree with you on the worst atomizer part.

I sit here tonight with a 18650 Gripper in hand topped with a carto tank. Next to me is a Solo topped with a 4ml Zlide. Plus more.....
Well, let me just say I have so many favorite ejuices that I have double digits usually going most of the time. I really favor the top air rta's because a mess is almost a thing of the past. I did break down and buy a few rebirth rta's but no matter what they do leak a bit. Love the hit on them tho.

The good thing about so many is that recoil and rewicking is further between than just say 1 or 2 only in rotation. AT least I don't get bored too much anymore when all I have to do is pick up another mod. LOL

    my bad.

    :)

It was supposed to be the next generation of atomizers that moved us past cartos, vivi novas, and CE3s. FAIL!! Thankfully Svoemesto came along and revolutionized vaping the right way.

I’ll take my cartos any day.

I loved the AGA-T2. Except when I forgot it was in my pocket and soaked my leg in 18mg, that sucked. I remember vaping an IGO-L, and that genny, blowing clouds and being amazed. Coming from cartos, it was a big step for me at the time. That's about the time I got into mechs, and started rebuilding. My first Kayfun clone followed not long after that, a Flash-E vapor tank, A7 genesis clones, RDA'Ss, etc., a bunch of stuff that's mostly gone now. Gears gotten alot better over the years, but I look back with fondness at the beginning. It sure was fun and exciting, even with all the problems stuff had. Rusting screws, shorting center posts, bad threads. Good times back then, in spite of it all.

I admit I’ve gotten lazy and I’ve been using drop in coils for awhile. I can blame Innokin for that cause the Z coils are pretty amazing and long lasting,
I bought and tried a few of the zlides. And the Z-Biip. Once the juice reached a certain level in the biip it would all drain out. Put it in storage. Had a great vape tho I just could not take the leaking part and not know how to fix it.

It was fun now that you look back at it. We were all part of making this industry better:)

I remember when the Pro Tanks and Sub Tanks came out. They were supposed to be high quality Stardusts. Which they probably were but it isn’t saying much when you compare it to a Stardust.

I had that problem with the zbiip just once. I didn’t have the coil locked in properly.

I never was too big on the Pro Tanks but the Kanger Subtanks really got my attention. So easy to build and very forgiving too. Good thing since I was so terrible when first building.....probably still am but it seems to work ok for me. lol
