The wife's daughter went shopping last night and brought us some stuff, plus we have food coming from Amazon so we're doing good without leaving the house. Who knew my lifestyle was "sheltering in place"?

Taste. I ordered a load of mints and menthols. To my wacky taste buds, it’s just right as a sprig of mint in something. Honestly, all you can do is read the flavor notes on ELR and other places and try and find a consensus. Everyone tastes things a little differently, and if you add in cultural taste preferences it gets even broader.

This is the reason I never shop with a debit card especially online.

Does anyone know if you can use a "vanilla" visa card (gift card) That's a super safe way to order things.

I think i would email the vendor i wanted to buy from and ask. I have seen some say that gift cards need their prior approval.

CA is starting the nonsense, the governor has ordered a stay home thing. I think.

Yep (I'm in CA)... "stay at home" policy. Actually, it's not so bad... still allowed to do many things. Just got back from Costco. We had to wait an hour in line but it was so worth it (TP, paper towels, diapers for relatives kids, eggs , butter and a pack of disposable gloves... they were out but I found a few packs behind a stack of stuff... might have been for employees but they left them out so I "swooped" them up... hey, survival mode) I have to commend Costco... they did a great job of handling people, got us in fast, handed out sani-wipes for the carts and had good supply of everything The first people in line had been there over 5 hours!

Those spearmint gumdrops shaped like leaves were among my favorite concession stand purchases when I went to movie matinees as a kid. I wonder if they're still available.

The same company that makes circus peanuts, packs (the orange marshmallow like peanut shaped candy), packs of pixie sticks, butterscotch disks etc still makes them! The grocery and Walgreens/CVS have them on the candy aisle here.

I do keep a strawberry trinity in one of my cases and came up with a blackberry one that I might change. I have screenshots of a few like the cake one that I haven’t gotten around to trying. I do like cakes flavors and really like inw lemon cake.
