Good morning mixers. I need to clean a few tanks and maybe try something new from the vape cabinet. I wonder if the yogurt drink needs to steep?
IDK but I think mine has steeped already. Waiting for my next empty tank to try it.

Morning, all. Another wet day here, but enough random breaks that the cats aren't biting my feet :)

Growing up we had a 24' above ground pool. My dad taught me much of the maintenance and those became part of my chores. Including the shock and chemical thing. Once the pool was ready I was like a fish in water.

I had decent pool parties when my parents were away on vacation.

I'm a little worried about unapproved pool parties here. Since the lockdown the local teens have been getting bored and rambunctious. There's a wilderness center up the road where they teach kids how to build shelters in the woods and light fires and skin deer and all that stuff, it's been closed by the lockdown. A bunch of 12 year olds broke in last week and tore it up bad. One kid who refused to go in was beaten up. He told his parents and the rest of the crew were picked up the next day, but there's not much they can do to 12 year olds. They play basketball in the street and refuse to move out of the way for cars, They go to the park late at night and set fire to trash bins and leave condoms lying around. They look for unlocked cars and other vandal stuff. My pool has a privacy fence and a locked gate but nothing that would stop a determined group of teens.

Well, I’ve been reading up on TFA Smooth, as well as similar products from other companies, and it apparently has some potential to be a tank cracker and possibly eating o rings.

    Hmmm...

It does what it says on the tin however, and appears to be used in a number of commercial juices.

    The active ingredient is Triacetin.

There is a bit about testicular atrophy, and uterine discoloration, in tests on rats at high dosage levels, as well as production of all the bad chemicals.

I’d take that last bit with a grain of salt, but still:

 Nothing like a bit of testicular atrophy and uterine discoloration to wake you up. It’s used in such a small amount I’m hoping it’ll be ok. Hopefully.

As a side note, this discussion reminds me of the guy who pumped my septic tank. He was smoking and said something about his smoking and I asked him if he ever tried vaping. He immediately said nah too many chemicals in vaping...as he has a Marlboro hanging out of his mouth. :|

Bunch of heathens. Where are their parents? Makes me so grateful my son is normal and has great friends. He also knows he would have to deal with me if he ever did anything like that. So grateful I got a good son.

My aegis boost, only 5 months old, stopped working, already ordered a new one, have 10 coils for it. I hope this is not a sign of things to come.
I have a boost but I’ve never tried it. You’ve inspired me to pull it out later. I have coils and the deck but I’ll try the coils first.

My 4 kids are all grown up with families. Still happy to say the grown grandkids were all brought up good as will be the great grands.

I've heard the same sort of thing from smokers.

That is a reflection on the parents.

Residential treatment center. I worked in one out of my master's. I figured it would teach me a lot. Boy did it ever. It doesn't stop teens from doing awful things but at least they are contained. I will never forget riot day. I was very sweet and kind to those monsters until THAT day. The residential head thought I was too nice to them, but on THAT day once we got them up to the units we held "group." I screamed at them for about 45 minutes and revoked every privilege they had. The residential head, said, "See, look what you have done. When does Ms. Anna ever yell?" Then she screamed at the for an hour and revoked all the privileges SHE held.

That day... .Well we were all calling our families and saying "I will be home at 11" because if you don't call all the guardians and whatnot the next day would be even worse. To make things even MORE fun, like some kid came in and said she found a "pubic crab" on her dinner plate.. We were out in the woods, I was pretty sure it was just a tick but like, that was also fun. I had her describe it very carefully, sat her near my computer and opened enough pictures of pubic lice (and it was scary because I did not want to be accused of showing a minor porn) but fortunately they were not attached to the item and I also called down to nursing and asked if there were any reports of crabs and they made fun of me. Nurses can really suck. LOL.

But I just had to I did not want to deal with the parental phone call, "You had a riot AND there is an outbreak of crabs?" I mean....

    Good times indeed.

I see the occasional kids on bikes around here but they are maintaining a six foot distance. I am always happy when I see them.

I slept like a baby THANK GOD. It was excellent. Now, if I can do it TONIGHT. I actually think a puppy might be distracting today. Too energetic.

    No fever this am yay!

I hope your mixes turn out perfect. You should not quit until you have accepted a job at which point you can borrow money from your Mommy and git.

Would that it were that simple. It's a tentative job offer and then they "onboard you." That takes about 3 months and like, they investigate you. Like, they check you for felonies, talk to your neighbors, talk to your family members and they do it all in Federal Stealth. I have had it happen before for other jobs although Federal jobs are a bit scary because if you answer the questions wrong well, they really mess with you. Which is why I think I am going to have to resign (yes, at the end of my FMLA) but it's not worth 3 months of fighting with a disability company about like, uh, whether they will cover you. They don't like "fired for health reasons" so maybe it's good. IDK. I can just go to SSI I guess. That is a totally private thing, even for the Feds. Oh, I have to go for a physical to the VA in Tucson. I'm hoping this happens later. But, they seem in a rush. I may actually have to leave before the husband (again) to a whole new state while he cleans up here, IDK..

To be fair, SSDI has always treated me with the utmost of kindness. That is because they read my inpatient medical records and put me on "Full and complete discharge for the rest of my life." They were shocked when I went back to work so when I left my former job oh about 5 years away well, they were like, the speediest application ever, they were like, 'You cannot be without health insurance (gaps, you know, preexisting conditions) which is why I would have to march down to (or probably call I bet they are all working from home) DES and get Medicare while waiting for Medicaid because I can't have gaps. I am trying not to freak, I have until the end of June. Etc. If I don't get any form of disability we would qualify for food stamps. I am not proud though, that's fine with me. But, things work out.

Something will work and we have to terminate our lease here and we have NO actual clue what is going to happen when, including selling our house. The husband has by some magic like, paid the bills through the next two months, and I have a bit of savings to pay my consolidated debt because they ALSO don't like if you are fiscally "unsound" which means behind on anything. We are going to get (and fill) a shipping container with our belongings and send it there, it seems the cheapest (about 3 k) so yes, I will be borrowing money from my mom unless the house closes crazy fast and we make money (we should, I don't know how much.) The husband is going to the Insurance Commissioner about State Farm but it's not HUGE on our list. He has way more evidence to incorporate but we are just FRIED.

This is going to be a difficult move, but I believe it can be accomplished. I have to believe it and I DO believe it.

    Anna
