Good morning mixing people. Today I must go to Bisbee to get some meds . If they have a goodwill I am loading up the car. Because I am the Hulk. Should be fun tossing those boxes around.

The husband has not done much yet to redeem himself in my eyes, he muttered, "That slacking
b:censored:ch when he discovered no coffee was made this was because I needed the timer set to make it.

He is going to Tucson to get the last of his tools I hope it takes a long, long time.

Yeah I am sure thing s will improve they usually do.

Good morning in here. I'm recovering from a work hangover. I wish life was easier than this but whatever. Covid cases are up in the area. I pray that I live another day. (I know I'm being over dramatic). Going to mix this weekend. My mind is blank. I use to be more creative with mixing even though I like simple (KISS). I might have to look at some recipes to gain inspiration.

Have a great day! Going to mask up for the day and do some serious food shopping. :) I'll have to wear some eye protection as well. Covid is thick in this part of the world. SE WI

Such a simple thing wearing a mask. One that could spare millions of lives and stop the virus in its tracks as it has in other countries and spare our hospitals from being overloaded where people die alone and probably without the best care due to overcrowding. But everybody gets all .... hurt about it. And it's only for a short while if everyone followed the recommendations. o_O

I stayed up too late last night watching shark attack shows on national geographic. YIKES! Fascinating though. So glad it's Friday!

I am currently doing my self evaluation for my job. My least favorite thing to do. However, when I see all I've done on paper it's amazing and gives me a boost. I wish it was finished though. I keep telling myself this is only one of a few left to do until my retirement. Only 38 more days total until I get my time in! :w00t:

Dollar stores are oddly compliant about masks. The last time I was in there, a construction worker with N95 masks gave a bunch to a family who did not have one. It was sweet. He was also buying a 24 pack of beer. He looked amusing to hang out with but you know, 24 pack that is a LOT who knows what will happen.

I totally have enough money to rent the apartment today even without the husband. If I do so, I know I have a place I can drive to with my essential things.

I have heard that about the market, but like, if we get a good offer (we are going to) like, we can make a contingent offer in WV although I might find that nerve wracking since like a contingent offer can be dropped for a real offer any time.

We should make some money on the house though. Where I want to live seems like there are many places, some sitting for a while. I am not TOO stressed though.

That jerk man, like it is SO HARD to rent a damn apartment when I have done ALL the research already.

I guess it can wait one more day but that is IT. I am also calling my mommy and picking a truck date.

I cannot leave these things to the husband although we did sit down and have a nice talk just now so that's good. Argh.

I guess we are going through like, a lot.

    Oy.

We did an unscheduled town run yesterday. Thankfully most everyone we saw was masked, although still a few with bare noses. Uh, how does that work??

I sometimes get on my local Next Door forum. Not much since it tends to get petty and argumentative. There's a really long thread going on about masks at the moment. About one in three posts are one liners from an anti-mask warrior called Sheila. She responds to almost every post with some throwaway comment. She must have dropped the same post 30 times about people who can't wear masks because they are Vietnam Vets with PTSD who get panic attacks if they have anything touching their face. Does nobody here care about the vets who blah blah blah? This morning she said, how come CA is having an outbreak when they have cops forcing everyone to wear a mask at gunpoint?

I reckon it's not worth the aggravation it would cause to force the nutty holdouts to mask up. I read around 80% of people now are in favor of masks and wear them all the time when they are out, and a bunch more who wear them reluctantly if it's a rule. Almost everyone will wear them in shops if it's required. That should be enough. The law of diminishing returns would come in if you try to impose it on the last few hardliners.

The President started advocating mask use this week. And Deep Red Indiana is mailing free masks to everyone. We're getting there.

You can't argue with crazy or stupid. Well, I guess you can, but it is pointless.

Couple of quotes I picked up from ECF.

You can't use reason to talk someone out of a position they didn't use reason to arrive at - Someone's tag line

Beliefs are impervious to facts - Rolygate

So glad you are going to get that done :) Hope you had a decent day.

I had a great day. I brought my oldest nephew to work with me and we both had a good time working together. It was fun, talking trash, working together, good times were had all around. Later on, an old friend stopped by at the house, and that was fun. It was a good day, a pain-free day. Then I ordered a Dvarw DL FL clone from fasttech in the evening.

Some days are a real drag, but every now and then you get that one odd day where events fall into place just right. I enjoy those good days. Probably the bad days provide the necessary contrast for that to happen. Otherwise it would just be a day, no good or bad, blah.

We went to Target yesterday and I was actually shocked at the number of people with no mask. Maybe they all came from Walmart and can’t get in there anymore.
I drove past a high school football field yesterday. There were ~50 kids practicing, probably getting ready for school to start. No masks on anyone. I'm worried about what's going to happen when the school year begins.
