Last year I brought all the paint by number paintings I had done over the year. Everyone picked a painting and I framed it for them. This year everyone gets a diamond art painting framed. No picking. I made a special one for each person. I wonder what next year's craft will be?

I have an order going at River Supply and it's $53. It says free shipping over $50 but wants to charge me $15 for delivery. Any codes I can use?

not sure but I heard about other places doing this now too, something about fedex changing their rates or something so anything over x amount of weight fedex charges for...

Yes I wanted gallon jugs of PG and VG and I guess you don't get free shipping on those.

I was really happy with my Heartland vape purchase. I did get 1 gallon of pg and 1 gallon of vg and a liter of nic with free shipping. The nic was better than River supply. I've been buying nicotine since late 2010.

P.S. It was shipped by UPS which I like. FEDex sucks (my opinion).

I only bought this for son. The only present I'm buying. I gave xmas up 30 years ago. I will do nice things for people throughout the year. A holiday does not define me. I hate stress so I decided years ago to do things my way. The family loves it. I will have a cheat meal day and be done with it.

My first thought would be the Shisha Vanilla as a sub. Vanilla Bourbon is a pretty mellow straightforward vanilla extract type flavor. Vanilla Swirl has some creamier notes and maybe a little sweetness. I haven't tried CAP Simply Vanilla so can't compare that one, might be a good one to try.

Seems like people substitute vanilla on hand frequently in recipes, so you'll probably be good whichever you go with.

Don't make too much. Like real eggnogg, the flavor is best saved for short periods of time. I still have my eggnog from last year, LOL.

Okay, we are making an offer on the house for 30K less but the real estate agent did comps and seriously, the guy just slapped a number on it.

We'll see. I looked on line and I have further backup from me, including MY requirement to protect HIPPA and if I HAD called those Veterans, I would have violated HIPPA.

OMG. I am so glad I left when I did. And also PURGED my office from every stray piece of potential HIPPA because I know this type of people.

You know it's interesting.... Every other time, I have gone "Oh my Bipolar, it's me!!" and backed away but THIS TIME after the HIPPA stuff and their insane INSISTENCE, I now wonder if they were just WANTING me to get in trouble and if they are smart enough for that.

Either way, glad I left. Seriously if I get in trouble (which I cannot see getting in trouble because ALL vets on entry are TOLD they have to keep their masks on ONE HUNDRED percent of the time, well, I'm not seeing it. They were already told and WHATEVER.

But, I called my sis the lawyer there was nothing wrong with ANY of my actions and I am DONE. I will go after them like a Rottweiler if I have to. DONE.

Nice! A couple of years ago I sat with my Mom for weeks developing a Mawmaw cookbook of the family’s treasured recipes. Typed, bound, and in color. In the back of the book I xeroxed all of her and my memaw’s original handwritten recipes. I called that section “splattered and tattered”. Gave them as gifts to everyone. I love homemade gifts but my time is limited.

That recipe, by the way. seemed familiar, and, sure enough, there's one very much like it in Maida Heatter's cake cookbook. Some small differences, but essentially the same. She identifies it as a Hawaiian cake.

Interesting. The cake from memory was super fluffy and light but with lots of flavor. Having had a lot of different cakes from her at the time I think she used the base recipe in most of them. My mother's recipes always used whole eggs.

Maybe 3/4 teaspoon of coconut extra or 3/4 of FLV's version...

Just found out my sis-in-law has Covid. She’s an elementary school teacher so doomed from the start. But she was also the most vocal naysayer about Covid. She was hosting Thanksgiving but no more. They are all in 14 day quarantine. We are having it at Mom’s now.
