I just started my bottle of Julia Su’s orange tart. It’s really good. Did that have bakery oranges in it?
I've been using that in one set up or another since I first saw it on FB. It uses blood orange and orange cream.

I forgot I had it ready. It’s quite tasty! I’m not getting much bakery out of it. May try replacing the sponge cake with something elseI've been using that in one set up or another since I first saw it on FB. It uses blood orange and orange cream.
Fast zombies may be scarier, but slow zombies are more horrible.Evidently those zombies never watched The Walking Dead show. Zombies aren't allowed to run. They have to walk slow and drag one leg.
It's not a production line thing. I am an electrician/technician/welding inspector. I mostly work on industrial welding and cutting equipment.
I hope you get to feeling better soon.
So what is this sugar cookie mix you folks are talking about? I scanned the forum a bit but couldn't find it.SMT, what are your plans for the sugar cookie. I bought this little bottle to try Sugar’s mix. Just curiousness but I’d like to use it up.
Torrone also has sweetness. It's the chewy nougat part in a candy.Kind of like orange jam, I think. I remember thinking it needed zest, and nothing else sweet with it. I haven’t tried the cranberry jam, but it’s supposed to be tart and not very sweet. Torrone has a zesty bit to it, plus I love orange + almond. Hoping the 3 together round each other out.
Scroll up and see my post to Butch. It's from @Sugar_and_Spice's lemon cookie recipe. So what is this sugar cookie mix you folks are talking about? I scanned the forum a bit but couldn't find it.
Yep, I just noticed it right after I posted that question. That is what I get for skip reading.Scroll up and see my post to Butch. It's from @Sugar_and_Spice's lemon cookie recipe.

So, yer sayin', you would like a cappuccino cookie to add to your vapes?
Add these to your ongoing flavoritis cart at BCF:
CAP Sugar Cookie
SSA Shortbread Cookie
When you get them make this...
CAP Sugar Cookie 1.5%
SSA Shortbread Cookie 0.5%
Then add some of your cappuccino or tiramisu to taste. You will likely have to bump up the percents on the cookies to hold up to your bold coffee tastes. Try bumping them up by 0.5% and go from there. You'll find the right balance.
If you choose to accept this mission... you will be soundly rewarded... with...
...Butch's Cappuccino Goobermint Cookies![]()
I read that, but I don’t get “sweet” at that level from it. It’s more zesty almond. Maybe I’m honey blindTorrone also has sweetness. It's the chewy nougat part in a candy.
Partial HIC note:
"One of FA's best flavors! This is chewy, sweet, white, Italian 'nougat' candy, not American candy-bar nougat. It's sweet but not cloying, the flavor of almonds, lemons, and a touch of honey. Torrone can be used as a tasty sweetener. Try it as sweetener for your tea vapes. Its almond-honey-citrus flavor complements fruits especially well."
Might not seem like a good match but I’d go with FLV Pound cake. Angel cake might work. What would be a decent sub for Chemnovatic Spongecake? This is what I have to choose from:
Angel Cake (SC) (WF)
Fluffy White Cake (SC) (WF)
Gooey Butter Cake (DIYFS)
Lemon Cake (Inawera)
Nonna's Cake (FA)
Pound Cake (Flavorah)
Vanilla Cupcake (Cap)
Yellow Cake (FW)
Yellow Cake (Jungle Flavors)
I believe it has to do with customs inspections. Idk, if you google DHL shipment on hold there's many different reasons.. so I contacted customer service. I don't like phone calls and waiting aeons, so by sheer luck I was able to find their customer service chat and not email. It wasn't easy finding it. Tracking said I would get my parcel on the 23rd.. which to take 5 days to travel 4.5 hours away is just absurd. CS agent just told me it is scheduled for delivery on Monday which is why it is on hold.. but that doesn't really explain why it's on hold. I can speculate and theorize, but at least I know it's coming.. I hope.Hope they lift the hold soon.
It’s 6 weeks old. You’d think it would be “done”. On the other hand, my taste buds aren’t nearly as perceptive as yours. After using it for a while the flavor seemed to build and get better to me.
Angel cake was my first thought, but I'm also considering yellow or pound. It's for Julia Su's Orange Tart. You're the expert on that one, @hittman--any thoughts?Might not seem like a good match but I’d go with FLV Pound cake. Angel cake might work.

that was my thought too, probably a pound cake (that diyfs gooey butter cake is also a pound cake)Might not seem like a good match but I’d go with FLV Pound cake. Angel cake might work.
Or maybe try a mix with WF Fluffy White Cake and JF Yellow Cake???What would be a decent sub for Chemnovatic Spongecake? This is what I have to choose from:

I had trouble with DHL last year or two. Something about they don't deliver to my address in WV? There's a DHL hub less than 5 miles from me in Hagerstown, MD. The office that called me was in DC. And they told me not to use DHL anymore for my address. Sounded really strange to me. They ended up doing USPS over night at a cost to them around $25. Some peoples children. smh LOLI believe it has to do with customs inspections. Idk, if you google DHL shipment on hold there's many different reasons.. so I contacted customer service. Is it just me, or does it seem there's an increased need to contact customer service these days? Probably covid to blame. It's a miracle if I order something and then it arrives in it's scheduled time without issue. Maybe for my current situation it's my "local" DHL which gets a 2.4/5 on Google lol. Something I do, but I haven't had to use (yet), is take screenshots of interactions with CS.. just in case.
