Ok.

Here is what I started doing earlier...

1) Check each recipe link to see if the link works.

2) If it does, I am copying the BB Code Link Snippet, recipe name, author and pasting it into a text file.

You will need the Recipe Name, Author and BB Code Link Snippet to make your fixes.

3) If the link doesn't work, then I go 1 or 2 pages ahead of the page the wrong link lands me on. Find the recipe and copy the BB Code Link Snippet, recipe name and author and pasting it into a text file.

4) The data from my text file could then be PM'ed to you per the group convo you setup.

I figured the best, and most thorough, way to do this was to grab the info from every recipe, link working or not, and plop it into a text file. Then you would have a very accurate and complete backup.
Sounds good to me. Since we have to check to see if each link in the blog is working anyway, copying the entries one by one from there to a text file along with the link probably makes more sense than my master list idea.he thread to find them.

Note: It saves a little time to right-click on the permalink and then click on "copy link address" instead of opening the link and copying the BB Code Link Snippet.

Also, I find using the search function to find the recipe is often faster/less tedious than scanning forward for the relevant post, but that's just my preference.

BTW, right clicks, or any of that other Windows stuff, is not an option on my Mac's.
Aha. Too bad.

Before I started right-clicking on the permalink, I just copied and pasted the top link.

And that was my question to @retired1 yesterday. Does it matter, going forward, which link we use for you blog? In theory each should work fine. But I would like to know for certain. Like is one more preferred over the others.

Ok, I just switched my mouse to one from one of my studio Mac's that offers more options. It has many buttons! Including Windows right clicking.

I am now able to right click, copy the link and paste it into my text file.

FWIW, right clicking that link just grabs a straight-up URL with no formatting.

Thanks, @retired1. Now I know that the blog will just have to be broken down into more and more sections as it grows.

As far as I can tell, right-clicking on the permalink and then copying it yields the same results as opening the link and copying the first URL. Is this true, or is there some mysterious difference invisible to the human eye?

FWIW, Rossum vapes flavorless but also adds a drop or two of a flavor in to his rda's here and there for something different.

As does Uncle, iirc. A drop or so of menthol or mint?

I don’t want a gas grill. I’ve had a few before and don’t want to have a propane tank or worry about it’s full or empty.

I solved that problem with a natural gas grill (professionally) connected to my home gas system. :) It's great not to have to worry about propane, wood, charcoal or other stuff.

One of the guys I work with had a set up like that. That would definitely be the way to go for a gas grill.

I’ll be happy to help. Of course I’ll need to see an example of exactly how you want it done. I’ll PM you. I can do nothing else today though as this Momma is pooped!

I grilled some hamburgers and hotdogs for dinner and cut up some sweet potatoes into cubes and cooked them in butter with some seasoning. Came out pretty good.
I cut the front and side yards and grilled. I’m so stuffed I’m miserable. I haven’t eaten that much in a long time. Two desserts! That apple pie was slap yo grandma good! And the strawberry shortcake took me over the edge.

I love apple pie. If only I was closer. That is if your son didn’t polish it off.

I just finished cleaning up. Have to wait for the charcoal to burn out before I can cover the smoker back up. I just repainted the entire thing with black paint made for bbq grills and the fire box is rusting again already.

I rarely drink but could stand one tonight. Im done for the night.

He came in to ask where I had the pie stashed. It’s Mrs. Smith’s Dutch apple pie. With whipped cream. So good! I just got the kitchen cleaned up myself. I’m on the couch for the rest of the night. So tired!

He's used quite a lot of Koolada, with just a little bit of Menthol, in his otherwise unflavored eliquid for quite awhile. He hates Mint, except in candy. He just told me Friday though, that he's cutting out the menthol completely.
