Hi there Randomers

Been busy with early morning consultant consulting then shopping....we've got a five day run of high temps so also busy staying cool. Heat coming up from the Magreb desert...Africa. Cooling down next week so only a short spell...but still hot enough. As long as the nights cool down enough it's bearable.

@DavidOck I see your hot spell is finally going to end with a westerly bringing the temps down to the 70's next week....bet that'll be a relief

Planning nothing mixing wise for today now but maybe tomorrow.

I just realized that 8/10 was the 32nd anniversary of me quitting drinking. Everything I have is due to that, and I've heard that most people in my situation would not have quit so I am grateful.

Congratulations! I'm 33 years past my expiration date myself ODAT

Yeah, will be nice if it happens, and if anything is left alive by then. Just in from the watering, trying to get the shrubs soaked enough, deep watering. We lost a couple in June, when we had 3 consecutive days over 100, an event never before recorded here in June, and extremely rare even in August, usually our hottest month. Sadly some of that doesn't show up for weeks.

And, uh, standing in the shade, moving just my wrist to direct the spray, getting more salt water on the ground than fresh...

Congrats to all! That's a great accomplishment. If NolaMel is a "baby"...I'm not even conceived yet at a mere 5.5 years. I quit March 2016...best thing I ever did. I was teetering on the edge and I knew it. Just a waste of my brain cells and money and time.

I’ve used it at 1% and at 2.5 depending on recipe. I think 2% a good starting place and what I use the most.
