Not that I'm expecting it anytime soon, but, does Brunhilde arrive clean or do I need to wash/soak to get machining oil off it?

I have 3 of them and they all arrived very clean looking. I still give them a good soak in warm water though, but I do that for every new atty. But I did not notice any machine oil or gunk on them at all.

@vaper1960 - Forgot to mention this before. I'd already started writing my first post to you...as soon as I saw your post that I quoted from the page before. When I finally got it finished and edited several times ('cause I'm slow & picky) and then hit Post Reply, it was only then that I saw Skeebo's post to you. So, what he said had nothing to do with why I posted, nor what I said to you.

I've always respected your impartiality and I know you feel like he is teamed up on at times. I've witnessed him take stabs at Fran, post about stealing from his mother, being on probation for spousal abuse, bribing his son for alcohol, comment about not working and scheming the system, talking bad about his elderly mother who takes care of him (not vice versa as he claims).... there comes a point where as a fellow brethren you just realize what a person is.

When I have posted about this in the past I get PM's from folks he has schemed on the forum. I don't make this up, it's not what I am about. There are many others here that just don't welcome the drama that comes with speaking up.

His posting about 9/11 on the anniversary as if it will stir up some kind of political debate is just another muse of his. If his head was not so far up his rectum during that time he'd realize, we all threw our political ideologies out the window after the tragedy and became one.

Shame on him for never seeing that, but I am not surprised at all.

@vaper1960 - About this: "Just wanted to mention... I don't talk about 9/11... I understand if others do but I'm not going there. Carry on."

IMO, that's an example of a post that I don't see a reason for posting at all.

For example: There are certain things that I don't start a post about, or take part in discussions of them on ECF...when other people discuss them. But, I don't post to sort of announce to everyone that I won't be posting about them, if the topics come up in threads. ;) There's no reason to, IMO. Also, telling people to "carry on", isn't necessary either, IMO. They have every right to...whether I'm interested in it or not. They don't need permission.

Can you imagine how full threads all over ECF would be, if everyone posted to say they won't be posting about things...every time some discussions start that they don't care to take part in? :?:

Not trying to jump your .... here, but maybe to give you a little insight into why things you say sometimes seem to be better off not said.
Well said, madam.

@Skeebo - The only reason I posted above that I was working on my first post to him well before you posted...was to let him know that I'd thought his post was a bit odd, unnecessary, etc., from the get-go. I wanted to let him know that it wasn't based on how you felt or what you said...'cause I didn't even see your post until mine was there. In other words, someone else, too...(ME), thought there was no need for his post on the previous page.

You (my so called friend) are confused. I have never "stealed from my mother" , have never been on "probation for spousal abuse", have never "bribed my son for alcohol", never "scheming the system" (had a serious inguinal hernia that required surgery... that's why I got on medical assistance) I do take care of my elderly mother (even though I complain, she would be lost without me)) Once again... you are personally attacking me (against the rules?) Did I ever personally attack you (that you didn't instigate a response?) Did I ever disrespect you (once again, that you didn't start issues?) Yet you have chosen me as a "victim"... someone to "bully". I have literally never had an issue with ANYONE on ECF otherwise. Only on this thread (which I was warned about... the "clique"... of which I am not part of) I guess you are the "golden boy" that can break forum rules left and right. Have fun... find another fool. (this is where I'm quite sure you still post an immature response and disrespect me more) Over and out!

I think Alpine Strawberry is one of those that you either like or you don't.

My favorite strawberries are FA Red Touch (Strawberry), FA Juicy Strawberry, INW Shisha Strawberry and MF Strawberry. Combining any of those makes a nice pleasing strawberry.

Mine arrived clean, no machine oil. Washed it with Dawn, rinsed. All good.

I won’t be posting about you not posting about something someone else posted that I choose not to post about.
I'm not going to comment about your post. I am choosing to carry on...

    Carry on, my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done

Lay your weary head to rest
    Don't you cry no more

Once I rose above the noise and confusion
Just to get a glimpse beyond this illusion
    I was soaring ever higher
    But I flew too high

I made it back from Charleston. Love that place, although I only hung out in the old town touristy part. We stay at a hotel which used to be a warehouse, then condos, then a hotel. Huge odd shaped rooms with massive wooden ceiling beams and brick walls. Really nice breakfast and evening snacks with wine. The only Covid change was no room service, if you wanted fresh sheets or towels and so forth you could request them. My favorite seafood restaurant was just down the road.

I packed 7 vapes. 4 flavors, each with a 100ml bottle and a 15ml dropper bottle. Never had to get into the big bottles but it's nice not to have to worry about running out. Our room was right by the exit so just a short walk to vape. We were there 3 years ago and vaped in the room. The rooms have slanted ceilings, at a guess around 13ft high on one side up to 15ft on the other side. There were sprinklers but only one smoke detector on the high part of the ceiling at one end, and in a part of the ceiling space that was separated from the rest by an enclosed area over the bathroom containing the mechanical systems. No way you could set it off by vaping. Guess I'm a bit less of an addict these days though so going outside was fine. There was a time when I worried a lot about vaping when I went on a trip.
