Merry Christmas Random Mixers! I've been busy the last 24 hours and am now only able to check in. Yesterday my daughter and went to Christmas Eve Mass with my mother, sister, and niece. Then we went out for Mexican food, then to my mother's to exchange gifts. Daughter and I got up rather early, and Mom drove us to my brother and SIL where we exchanged gifts then went out for breakfast. We then went to see the progress on their new house, then back to their place where we watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Back home now, I finally got to give my daughter her Christmas presents from me. Today has been a hot day, 81 degrees, setting a new record high for Christmas Day. I'm ready for a nap.

Quiet here, too. The kids were over for a few hours, brought our dinner. Opened gifts. We had a good time, ate too much. Now for a little laptop time and then back to my book.

We ate much later than usual on Christmas. Dd held dinner for Heather not knowing they would leave. They did make the best choice to head home.The crappy weather made a longer than usual day for us. Still a good day.
