The Chiefs won again by chance. We did a quick run to Dollar General to grab some milk and I needed gorilla tape for my grill cover. It wore a hole in the top where the hinge is on top. The rest is in great shape.

Still……a win is a win.

I ran a couple of errands this morning, had more leftovers for lunch, and just wrote up another custard idea (Egg Custard of Coot • Vanilla Custard, Custard Premium, Condensed Milk, Meringue, Egg Yolk, Holiday Spice, Shisha Vanilla)

I think I’ve figured out what the offensive flavor is in some of my blackberry experiments. I have a jelly donut recipe that I really like and subbed in some tfa and SC blackberry. I know I like the tfa so it has to be the SC that I don’t like. I’m going to switch back to tfa and mora.

The few mixes I’ve tried it in have a bitter sour taste that’s really off putting

I'm thinking I should get around to trying that sponge cake/sugar cookie/blackberry tester sometime this coming week.
My thought is that the bakery part might be more like a cobbler - not sure if I'd really be able to distinguish a cobbler from a crumble from a crust, but I shall see I guess.

I’ll be curious to hear how it is. I’ve kinda stalled on the blackberry recipe
