That actually sounds good

It is, I stumbled across this about a year and a half ago. Had a Balkan NET that was a bit bland, had some Bryce's vanilla custard and figured let's sweeten this NET up a bit..it was a revelation.

It is amazing really, it works on several levels.

Yes you most definitely do :D. Got a recipe for that custard?

Yeah, I will see if I can remember the ratios, but it is all TFA, vanilla custard (9.5) DDL (2.5) French Vanilla creme (2.5) and occasionally add 1.5 caramel or strawberry, if you can improve please do and let me know

Ok, got my little box of Graham's Cellucotton. The timing was good as I had started a thread on the lack of flavor in the new Melo 3 tank that comes with the new Eleaf Pico mod, I'll post that link if anyone is interested.

Basically, with the Melo 3 tank, I tasted less flavor using their prebuilt Titanium coils as well as my own Ti build with COTTON, in one of the Eleaf RBA's, then I get with my STM's, and Cubis tanks.

Since some of the notes on RAYON, are better flavor then cotton, I figured rewicking the Eleaf RBA with my new Rayon would be a good followup test to see if I could get any flavor improvement.

Well the rayon wick DOES make for more flavor! I won't use this tank with premade coils or cotton, but at least I can stiil get some use out of it with a rayon wick. I'll be trying more rayon tests as I go.

JeremyR, in a previous post you mentioned something about blowing into the tank via the drip tip, in regards to getting rid of any rayon taste, can you elaborate? Not sure reverse blow back is a good universal idea on some tanks, like a opposite design like a Cubis tank. On others some gurgling can be resolved by blowing into the tank while its held upside down over your head. All depends on the tank design, some tanks will flood, others will spray juice out the airflow vents. It's something I'd like to avoid for a lot of reasons, some I've listed.

But even with all that said, how would any reverse blowing into the tank effect any rayon taste at all? My first rayon box is due today. Thanks!
Adding to this, after I wick and saturate I will fire and blow directly on the coils a couple times then re saturate and repeat. I usually find that by after the first few hits it's just full on flavor.

I would suggest it's not a good idea to blow into an Aromamizer. I just tried it and had condensate spray out the air holes in all four directions! Messy!

I do blow through my Fogger V6s after refilling them to clear the chamber, below the deck, of any liquids that might accumulate down there, but that's not on a mod while firing and I keep a towel wrapped arounf it loosely to catch any spray. Lesson learned with the Aromamizer.
Just a mellow exhale while firing on my billows v2 does the trick and no mess... Obviously don't full lung blow lol:thumb:

No one else ever blew out the first hits before, just a new suggestion, so no worry! Just try it first!
I did that in a way before. Rewicked the FeV, had the funky nutty taste, so I pulled the chamber, fired the coil and blew on it until it was almost dry. Then dripped and blew again. Repeated idk, maybe 4 times. It certainly helped getting rid of the taste.

The Orchid deck blows, the screws blow, but the vape is awesome.

What were they thinking, when you try to put the second coil in the legs hit the other coil..I hate it.

Yep, I know exactly what you mean. There is a bit of a trick to it though... leave the legs rather long for the insertion and kinda curl the one that goes through the center post. When you insert it, make sure that the curl allows the tip of the leg to go up and over the other coil. Then once everything is positioned and tightened down, cut the legs off. I kinda got in the habit of leaving long legs on my coils for insertion from dealing with the Orchids, so now there's an added benefit. Long legs make for larger clippings... which means less chance of dropping a tiny piece of wire onto the floor and stepping on it later. ;)

I did the same thing for a long time, and still do... just never really realized that I was doing it until Jeremy brought it up the other day. With RDAs, I do it with the top off... with tanks, I just do it once everything is all put together. But as has been pointed out, that may not be advisable with ALL tanks... but it seems fine with the tanks that I have. ;)

My Bachelor tank is out for delivery. I solved the wife problem by ordering her a hot pink iStick Pico Kit and it's out for delivery as well. Perfect timing.

It's not the perfect tank but overall, considering all factors, it's a top notch single coil tank. The FEV drilled to 3mm is still a great tank system too, but not as easy to set up.
