I appreciate the sub, thank you :)

Rayon FTMFW...still after a month or so can't get over the flavor this stuff gives me :w00t:
Speaking of MFW...
I put a dm Ball in the Clapton on the Stumpy, very nice! It's is bit different to work with but much better than Sally's. I keep the dm's to use with for special premium juice, to quote Detta Walker from the Dark Tower.

Can someone help me diagnose why I'm not getting much flavor on my new Billow v3? I'm using the coils it came with (I spaced them out a bit) -- they're 3mm ID, maybe 26g kanthal(?), about 9 wraps, ohms out to .32-ish. It seems to be wicking good and getting HUGE clouds at higher wattages, but the flavor is barely there. It's not even close to my Crown tank. I'm trying to get back into rebuilding so I don't have to spend money on those coils anymore. These pictures are with DM rayon balls. I've tried wattages all the way up to 90, tried closing the airflow a little, a lot, etc.

I can get better pics if needed.

Where is the rear airflow in relation to your coil?

My billow v3 is my king of flavor. Only time it is not with me is when I have no time to grab it or Rewick it

Ok sorry I could go back and search this thread, but being the lazy slob I am, what is the name of the Rayon that I would be looking for?? Sloth I think you posted it in here somewhere... :)

Couple options, one is Graham's Cellucotton from Sally's Beauty Supply. Great stuff, though not as high quality as say the DM Balls or Tidi Rayon balls (debatably easier to work with, though because it's not in the form of a ball you gotta unroll). Not sure where to get either of those but others will fill us in shortly :)

Hey if you opt for the Sallys rayon, be absolutely sure you buy/order the rayon...because there's two boxes, they look identical, both say Graham's Cellucotton, but one is 100% cotton and one is 100% rayon. Just fyi :)

and not the reinforced rayon, its a strip of paper weaved within the rayon to give it added strength

Just a thought until someone with more experience chimes in, try bringing the coils down a little closer to the airflow holes. It's suppose to increase flavor.

Sitting down, facing forward.
Here are the "part" numbers for Graham, Sally's, CelluCotton 100% rayon.

44040 Regular Coil 1200 Ft.
44043 Regular Coil 3 Lbs.
44060 Regular Coil 500 Ft.
44130 Regular Coil 40 Ft.

The 44060 box is about a foot cube and should last a lifetime for well under $20.00.

Here is mine, basically the same, I have it so the air is not quite centered but running a little higher so the back air hits and runs over the top while the bottom of the coil is a bit closer
