26g kanthal and 2.5mm the 3 works but air cannot work around it nearly as well

My pre-wrapped 316 SS coils from fasttech arrived and are indeed 5 wraps with an ID of ~ 3mm.
I was never a big fan of my Ego One Mega that came with my Evic even though it's better with the rebuildable CLR heads wicked with rayon. It still mostly sits in the stand I made for my tanks.
I decided to throw one of these SS coils in one of the CLR heads and wick it up with the vitamin D bottle rayon. I loaded up the Ego One Mega with a DIY juice I'm very familiar with and put it on my Cuboid in SS316 TC mode (440 degrees F @ 40 watts to start with) and this little tank has a whole new level of flavor I didn't think it was capable of. I'm pleased.
I also got a 5 pack of the RBA heads for my Subtanks I plan on trying the same setup in. I expect they will be even better...they typically are. I'll let y'all know how it pans out.

Yep! I must have at least 30 tank refills on this rayon wick in the Bachelor (I haven't really been keeping track). That would be well over 100ml and it's still going strong. BTW, this Bachelor tank is awesome...My new favorite. Thanks again for the recommendation, Jeremy!
Great, yeah its pretty good. It could be better but its been on my mod since i recieved it. I do detect the slight restriction with the air flow now. It seems best around 40-42w otherwise you have to use more force and notice the restriction.. My Flash e-vapor has a slightly better unrestricted draw, drilled to 3mm, and can go to 45 before you notice restriction.
I've been waiting to do a vertical coil again.. The bachelor is a good tank for it i think. That will also open the air flow with it some.

That makes sense and I'll probably try 2.5mm when I rebuild. For now, moving the coil closer to the bottom airflow has helped bring out more flavor.

I'm rewicking my Griffin now, it started seeping juice from the af. How did you get the wick ends so fluffy? Did you trim or use a pick? Thanks!Yes, it was actually the first one that I did right., cut at about a 45 degree angle, trim the tails down so only a very little goes all the way down

Tried the link it goes to FT's home page. Are they simple wrapped (single strand) of 5 wraps, 3mm ID coils premade?
I used ss316L wire to wrap on 2.5mm ID for the ego one mega clr's too. Makes the tank usable now

50 of them for $2.16 isn't too bad. I think shipping cost more than that, but I ordered some other stuff that was included in the shipping so there's that. They are just about the right size for the CLR heads if you want to give 'em a try, though.

For something that had design input from an experienced vaper, there are too many little things that could have been so much better.

Let us know about the Russian. 1 outa 2 ain't too bad I guess. We all could've saved some $ if we skipped out on the Theorem.
