STM rba vertical coil rayon wick
Today's build is vertical coil, 5 wraps 28ga on 7/64 2.8mm showing .8 but settled to .7 after a bit. Still trying to find the wattage. Somewhere between 20 and 30. Definitely thick clouds but probably go through more batteries.

Instead of bending the low leg with pliers, I left the drill in the coil, mounted the upper leg, trapped the lower leg loosely under the screw and used my little flat head screwdriver to push down the leg into the gap. Faster, less fussing, and the bottom coil doesn't try to go down the air hole.

What I should have said was a 3D holographic projector. That ain't gonna cut it f1ve
I had a feeling that's what you meant, yea not going to get that yet :)

Although you could really cloud up the room and project onto the vapor, that combined with 3D glasses would look pretty amazing.

Just FYI, I stopped using temp control a few months than ago, after trying it for about 6 months. Ti & SS. Much better experience for me with straight power. Better vapor with Less dryish hit problems. Actually get less dry coil hits. The Rayon warning is all I need. It was missing with TC.

I had to have heat high enough to give me the heat and vapor I wanted that it would dry coil hit more often without the warning. Now I get the Rayon warning that prevents me from going to dry hit. Actually went from multiple overheats a day to one or two a month. So all in a the tech did not work for me; as a well seasoned multi-year experienced vapor... If I could like lower temp vaping it would probably be OK.

The big point with rayon day one was that it took higher heat and lasted longer doing it.

I like TC myself but having the experience with several devices (dna 40, dna 200, koopor mini and evic VT), I can assure you that my worst experience was with the VT.

It's a piece of crap in TC mode. It was a mistake having bought it. It was nice at the beginning because it was Ti friendly but that vanished pretty soon. Don't judge TC by the VT experience.

Yep. It sucks for temp control, but it works pretty good in power mode.

OK guys, I pulled the trigger on a serpent, and should be getting it in the next day or two. I'll let you guys know how I fare with it :D

I'm really looking forward to hearing your opinion on the Serpent. It looks intriguing, but I haven't decided whether or not to pull the trigger. In the videos I've watched, it looks like they find it uncomfortable/awkward to build on, but it looks like one of my spaced 8 wraps of SS would fit perfectly. I'm on the fence.

Yeah I kinda had a feeling it wasn't regulating quite right or fast enough, etc., etc. Kanthals been just fine for me, So I'm not too worried about it. Evic is my only mod and it's been fine for vw. Don't like the flimsy wires anyway.

Got it in yesterday man. It's not that bad to build on, there's a trick to it tho. I wrecked 2 coils before I got it figured out :D. There's a vid in the serpent thread that shows how to get it fairly easily.
