Free, a true PIF. I put one coil on it, thought it was silly for my style, ordered a narda clone. The cost was trivial, I got it on a flash sale, want to give it to someone who would get some use out of it

The narda is a sweet little rda :) Only trimmed the tails about 20%, long tails because the wells are pretty deep. Rayon scores again!

I should break that out and set it up. I picked up the Lite and the Supreme 4ml off the HG flash sales. (I use the Avocado 24 daytime, switch to the Aromamizer V2 at night)
Yes you should :D so you can tell me how to wick it, pretty please :nun:

I'll probably build it like the v2. I prefer single coil, a horizontal between the 2 posts (the plug will be a spare part). Trim about 20 - 25% of the tail thickness, then split them in 1/2, so each of the 4 tail tips lands on one of the wells.

The coil legs have 2 90 bends to get them in the capture channels, a pita the first time, but easy afterwards, not hard to do with a pair of small needlenose. The goodness is that rewicking is very easy.

Thanks! I've done a single coil that way on the Boreas, when you trim the 20-25% off is it at an angle like @thayamax 's pic

I take 20 - 25% off the top (the side towards the chimney), then split the tails in two, then slightly even off the four little tail pieces (once they form the "X" pattern coming out of the coil). The tanks I use are pretty forgiving as long as I get "close".

I rewick in just a couple minutes total, go for fast and effective :) I won't win any contests for beauty, but I'm back up and vaping pretty quickly :D

Hey @IML8 hows the phone learning coming along?
Lots of interesting good fun.

UPDATE (so I don't waste space with non-rayon related subject matter):

It's a sad, sad day. Samsung has issued a worldwide recall for the Galaxy Note 7. Apparently, ISIS has infiltrated the company and executed a nefarious plan to splode my 'merican face off while I'm trying to enjoy some wholesome VR entertainment. Should learn more later today.

Quickie Aromamizer Lite build.

My standard coil, 2.5mm ID twisted 26awg kanthal, 5 wraps

I install on the upper post holes, trim the excess off the coil legs

Tight rayon wick, trim the length to match the outer edge of the base ring. My meter has the same diameter. Trim 30% off the top of the legs

Split the tails, so they're easier to put on top of the four small juice holes at the bottom of the deck
6cabd875419fd2abd7c562a7f5839860.jpg

Stuff the wicks into the deck - paperclip or the end of the coil winder jig works well. Thoroughly wet the wick before putting the tank together

Turn the juice control (knurled ring just below the glass) all the way off before filling. When refilling I believe I've read to turn the tank upside down before turning it off. I didn't do this once, the tank dump was awesome :)

I just bought two of these. I knew in advance watching reviews that the deck was small, but I was still surprised at how small it is, especially when I compare it to the offset posts of my Merlin. I have yet to build it, I like single coils, usually 3mm, so it was nice to see you got a 2.5mm in between the posts, avoiding having to you use the single coil plug. How's the side airflow working in this orientation?

Can you get a 2.5mm coil in there when mounting on the side of the posts?

I'm fine with the airflow, though I'm not a high power, big cloud, vaper.

I'm pretty sure a 3 between the posts would fit fine.

2.5 mounted on the sides could be a pita if you want horizontal, vertical should fit. I like horizontal between the posts because I like to rewick every 50ml or so, and this setup makes it easy to do so.

Thanks for the info, I'll have to try a titanium 3mm like you did yours, I'm still in shock that a 22mm Atty has such a small deck, I guess it's the bottom plug in design of this deck, I've never had one like this. 2mm horizontal is not ideal for me, may try the vertical as well. I debated getting this or the small Griffin, but the features and quality made me go with the lite. I always thought I would like the aromamizer, but hated the goofy rubber band air controller.

It's a good thing I didn't get a chance to build mine yesterday! Now I have a pictorial! Yay! Thanks so much!

Me too! I watched reviews & thought I was prepared for the size but when I took the deck out  boy it's tiny!
