The great thing about rayon is my wicks last a looong time, the bad thing is by the time I have to rewick different rta's I've almost forgotten the technique used in each different rta lol! Anyone else have this problem?

Just copy and paste the various instructions to a text document. I have zero memory, so I do that a lot for things I care about referencing later. When it comes to wicking, after everything I've read here over time, I just wing it, and adjust on the next build. I wouldn't over complicate things, as at least for me it takes some of the enjoyment out of it.

ditto, that's why I bookmark and download yt videos for each of the tanks I wick (even if they wick them with cotton)
I bookmarked the tips on this forum too! The Serpent mini one was great even has pics! I've used that for the Serpent, Serpent Mini, Serpent 25. It was from @xpen thank you so much, your pics of your wicking has helped me a lot!

Hair growth on the knuckles... :D

A new bf mod should be delivered today, picked up a Hadaly clone for it, waiting to see how that works with rayon [emoji5]
Let us know how that works out ;)

I snagged one when Psyclone had that sale. $60/shipped = no regrets

4mm 22ga coil @ .26Ω - Rayon & DIY PB Toffee
Hits quick with good flavor/vapor but gets hot after 3-4 big blasts in a row.
So easy to coil & wick. Full width Sally's rayon. That wick is tight.

Light but packs a punch. The brass one weighs about 200 grams more IIRC.

Full width rope holds a lot of juice.
I just started getting dry hit on the 8th full pull.
3 then sit then 3 more then sit then hit hi...uh uh
I'm not going for 9.

full rayon width in a 4mm coil, yup thats tight, did u have to fight it to get it through?
i just made a 3.5 mm 0.6 ohm ss single spaced coil, i used just over half the diameter of graham rayon coil and because of dryish hits in tc mode so i had to go back a couple of times to thin out the tails in my bachelor rta, its vaping good now

We should have a Sally's full strand wick club.

Kept it taut and twisted back n forth a little while pulling it through.
It's vaping smooth and good for about 3 hits in a row.
It might handle wicking more hits in a row if I thin it but it's good to go for me.
I always thin the tails to 1/2 width or less from the coil out.

i wont talk about recoiling.

My Taifun gt III came in from FT.

Needed a quick wash down, the screws are nice, the positive voltage path is nice, tank is nice, easy to wick. Flavor & th are great too.. Air flow is smooth with a fine air control for a restriced lung hit, about just right for single coil. Its more open than my drilled out bachelor. Assymbly is tight no weeping press fits here. (like the smok tfg2). I like the new taifun a lot!

24g 316ss, 3mm, 6 wraps, .34 ohms, 40-45w pwr. Air wide open, lung pulls.

Laid mandrel on base, attached leads, pulled up the coil a tad.

Started with a spread and rolled, doubled over DM ball strip piece... Stretched out a little. I pulled till it stopped, then stretched to even the density enough to pull it through and get good vibrations. Its Erie man. (that's basically my installation method)

Blew out about 6 long pulls worth to break it in.. Its been vaping like a absolute champ.!. Bubbles are flying during a vaping session. Its an agressive vape with the single coil, poppy and explosive right now which i love. No spit back on this tank which is a little surprising since its so intense with the fresh wick right now, must be the airflow.. Great th and flavor!

No leaks, ovenight with jc open no leaks, laying on its side no leaking or weeping so far, so good.

Its a winner in my book so far, day two, looking to be my daily driver. I recommend it.

I'm running the Wanko RDA on a Therion BF right now, a sweet setup [emoji5]. I tried one of the Wanko wave coils, found it a hassle to wick with rayon so switched to my own 0.45 ohm twisted 26 kanthal.

The Wanko has a tiny well, not too good for dripping but fine for bf.

Do you have you have to split the wicktails on that?. BF pin looks very high up in the well. Any weeping juice or flooding?

I don't get it, from this built it seems to me your wick end is very thick. Wouldn't it consider to much wick?

I probably can use this style on my Hurricane RTA. Atm, I'm using thin wicking tails for my KF5 which works great.

Hi! No I think the 30mm is a great idea but I don't have a mod that can accommodate that monster. I'm no help I usually succumb after hearing peeps rave about an item. What about you?
