Smoke for decades, don't blink an eye. Switch to vaping, suddenly a health nut.

Haha, just kidding, I'm the same way, want to reduce any risk as much as possible. I'm not 100% sold on tencel right now, but willing to give it a chance. I stopped using the pill bottle rayon as I feel a bit safer knowing where my fibers came from and that they are the real deal. I can't taste anything off the tencel but my juice, which is great. The fiber itself smells clean, no chemical smell or anything. I feel it has to be as safe as using cotton balls, although probably not as safe as organic or hand picked cotton.

No problem, reeftivo. Glad to help. We're all guinea pigs for all intents and purposes, and I'm always open to new ways of doing things. We are having a vape meet here in town tonight, I am gonna bring some of this stuff to pass around, I think.

The caution has nothing to do with the lyocell itself. Only the dyes & such it takes to make garments out of it.

Just adding clearification.

Spread it man let us know what they think!

It's the cleanest non tasting wick ever.... And traditional rayon is geotex certified free of harmful chemicals and tencel/lyocell is made with an evironmentally friendly non toxic process.

When I get time I will put the chemistry together on it. Planning to show the chemical reactions that take place completely remove the chemicals from the rayon fibers and all that's left is the cellulose in an atom chain. These processes and reactions are at the atomic level. Pure to the atomic level. That's why it tastes so pure. That's what I'm looking to prove.....

Here's some pics of the flash e-vapor wicked with the incredible rayon. (Bottle) notice with this its really fluffy and has big shoulders, but once wet and the air is forced out by liquid the wick shrinks as the fibers come together. I could have even used more rayon without a problem. You can kinda control the vape by how much rayon you use.. Some builds that collapsing can be a problem use even more..

If you get a dry hit check the coil as you'll find the rayon it too loose and not touching the coil fully... Use more.

weinner good idea, will have to give it a try.. It may work.. The copped is looking better, so far after som trials I cut 3 pieces at 1/4", 3 at 1/2", 1 at 1 inch. Mixed all together in a pot of water, mixed for a long time as the water was brought to a boil and let boil for a few minutes. Carefully strain out retaining the fibers, then formed what looked like a rope.. Will try more of the smaller cuts next try... There were some stray fibers laying around and when put together they looked better.. But the rayon fibers are finer the tencel is a thicker individual strand.

Here's some pics of the cut up and mixed tencel top, it really made the fibers finer and definately more cottony like the rayon I use.

All these pics are tencel top !!

Wet vs dry - seems to hold together well. This is the tencel top! Looks almost like the rayon(bottled) now to try it out..
