I'm using tencel in my Magma clone at the moment, and will most likely rewick with CC when the time comes. I can vouch for the tencel, though. It wicks fast, you can watch the stuff climb the wick to your coil from the well. The CC is going to be much the same, I'm sure, the big difference being the ease of use, it's a lot like cotton in that respect.

EDIT: Forgot I used the CC in my Storm last night. The Storm is a small chambered rda that takes a lot of inspiration from the Origen V1. I have it setup with dual verticals and I literally choked the coils with CelluCotton. Put the Storm on top of my Kylin and it has been vaping better than ever, just pure flavor country.

Here's what I got, next to regular cotton.
Can you guess which is which? :p

I don't have it yet, but about to get a nemesis/ magma combo off fasttech.. From what you all are saying about this stuff wicking the juice so well, it seems like it would lend itself to the deep wells of magma, creating almost a tank like dripping atomizer. Or am I off my rocker?

It's perfect for verticals. Great little dripper, I liked it immediately so bought two more, one for my girl. She doesn't have the same love, but she's more about the clouds and I'm more about the flavor.

So it was the top one. Does that one look smiliar to the ones you guys had?

I just pulled out the cotton from my Fogger V4 and re-wicked it with the Viscose i bought in germany.
No picture of the wick, since my hands were all sticky, but it was a mediocre wick. I thought i put a lot but after applying juice it shrank and i thought I should've put more.

Here's the results:
Rayon - YouTube
50/50 Juice, .8Ohms, fully charged VTC5.
I didn't notice a lot more vapor, but that's probably because i didn't have enough in there. I noticed no wick taste, just the juice.
Biggest difference to cotton: I could take 5s+ pulls with the airholes fully opened. With cotton it would get dry or burned after 3-4s max.
So I'm not super stoked just yet, but I'm sold.

From here it does.. Remember 3 times more than you think..

Yes, this part is particularly important I discovered. I also use rayon now in my reos on 1.5mm microcoils. With cotton too much is no good. With this stuff, you can hold the ends and stretch it to get it into the coil. Stuffed coil works best! I just did the same with my Fogger. I'm not sure you can overstuff using rayon!

My mistake.. I only used twice as much! :p

All jokes aside, is there any trick to getting as much as possible through it without ruining your coil? I used as much as i could without it pulling my coil apart, but after applying the juice it still shrunk down to a size where it just barely touchet all sides of the coil. Should i try to add a few strands after juicing it up already?

When you've rolled the rayon, get the pointy end into the coil, then stretch out both ends of the rayon. That way, I found, you can get a thick piece in that would otherwise pull the coil out of shape. Make sense?

JeremyRayon, to really make it easier to get people past the "OMG you're vaping plastic" reaction when you tell people about rayon, I think we need a concise post, that we can all copy and paste, that will put the common man's mind at ease. I'm pretty comfy after reading through sixty pages and all the various sources you've quoted, but not everyone is gonna wanna do that. If we could bring everything together that would be awesome. The safety factor will be the biggest hurdle in converting the masses.

How's this, actually read tire cord was the first mass produced rayon use. Being I'm from a mechanic family and have put thousands of Goodyears on, it's my choice brand also...

Currently I work for an ISP, 4 years now.

I hear you though; but quite frankly, I don't care if they are scared of it. It's their ignorance, and thier loss. But I will put something together soon, as soon as my utility patent goes through. Lol

We gotta keep the good stuff for ourselves, let them clamor over the crap wick when the vapocolipse hits .. Jk

I'm guilty to that charge as well, even though I've always had an open mind about wicking materials. Until I dug deeper in this thread, to me Rayon was nasty stuff to vape on...

The Rayon name sounds like synthetic material, like nylon and the like... Which it is btw, only it's man-made but out of natural stuff, the wood pulp. Its shiny look doesn't help, either.

All in all it may be very difficult to convey that simple truth to the average Joe, though... I'm not even sure that using viscose as a name in lieu of Rayon may prove beneficial to the cause, but maybe we should try that.

What do you think?

Just call it CelluCotton, people could relate more. I'm going to try it, stopping at Sally's on the way home from work. :)
