So what is the wicking difference between cotton & rayon? Cloud? Taste?
Paula,
It is pretty much like the thread title indicates; better flow, flavor, saturation and Nic Hit!
I have no idea how or why it is so much better than other wicking materials but for me there is just no debate.
If you use silica and try cellulous (rayon) I can almost guarantee you will never go back to silica. I take brand new Kanger coils pull out the silica and install rayon. The flavor, longevity and vapor production is sever orders of magnitude better.
I only mention the Kanger because of the popularity of the devices but this (for me) holds true when dripping or genesis, Kayfun, Fogger and any other styles attys that I have left off the list.
I only have one suggestion rather than have someone try to describe the benefits of Cellulous [ I use the term cellulous vs rayon because the term rayon sets some people on edge] is give it a try someone on here can provide a link to a place to acquire a small sample. IMHO once you try it you will never go back to any wicking material you have used in the past and I am sure that many others will echo my acclaim for this material.
PS - If you decide to go for the big box it is about $11 rupees for 500 ft and that is enough to last this lifetime and perhaps several reincarnations depending on your religious beliefs.
Gee folks - how come everyone always beats me to the punch.
