ukeman, 120 watts - does that require a special operators license. :D

Fact is, the Ranger is my ultimate at 50w and a well done regulated box it is. I rarely go over 40w, and most every one of my rta is single coil.
The Raptor and Okr T10 are great because there's no lag time just click and shoot, and even the EMech 30w has 2x18650... a must for me.

Hmmm... that is interesting. I may have to try that just to see for myself. I like to tinker and I don't think I can kill myself with a little salt. (I hope). The real reason it interest me is I have trouble with some flavors they just don't have much taste for me.

salt makes EVERYTHING taste better. :p I use it a lot when baking, because everything just tastes so flat without it. And fruit. Yum! Also, it makes you salivate, so you get that nice, moist, juicy feeling, like biting into a ripe peach or mango. I think that's why it helps your throat. The PG/VG dries it out, but the saline stimulates saliva to hydrate it again.

My father used to put salt on his watermelon... I thought it was just because he was nuts. So now I am going to have to try it for sure. My previous comment was a bit tongue in cheek but now that you have called my bluff I'll have to really give it a try.

I have dropped a few granules of MSG on my tongue then vaped to see what was the effect, it was quite effective at increasing flavor.

Of course MSG is bad for you but since I have it around I use it from time to time on various dishes (Accent).

"54",

You have to many good ideas albeit strange. ;)

Yup I know there are a lot of claims about it being bad for you but it sure makes all the difference in the taste of foods. Ya-know I wonder how bad it really is all the frozen Chinese food and a lot of foods you would think have MSG and I think it is OK by government standards.

I just pitched my last bottle of MSG because it was w-a-y out of date so now I find myself thinking about picking up another bottle. You know at my age I find myself saying so what if it is not healthy. I wonder what a little pinch in 30 ml would do. Hmmm...

I more meant to say there are claims it is bad for you, the Chinese eat mass quantities and look how long their average lifespan is.

I mean really we eat our fair share in the US as well, something like %75 of all prepackaged food items contain MSG in varying quantities. I personally think it makes certain meat and soup dishes really pop, without it..no pop.

Yup - I know about the prepackaged foods. I am a bachelor so it is my main stay. I once a few years back decided to not use MSG and soon discovered that everything I bought had MSG in it... even some things you wouldn't think. So not being a masochist I gave up the healthy tree hugger life style and decided that I wasn't going to liver forever so I might as well eat well.

Beside have you ever tried Chinese food with out MSG it tastes terrible. ;)

I'm a MSG fan too but I found once you add it you have to be careful with the amount of salt you use or you'll ruin the dish, I use very little, if any salt when I use MSG.

I have noticed vaping taste much better right after eating spicy foods, now I wonder if it was the food that made that after dinner cig taste so good. I keep small hotel size salt and pepper shakers on my desk and sometimes will put a dab on my tongue before I vape to give it a little kick.

Holman, I like the idea of adding a little MSG to some ejuice for a try!

Now I don't know if I would vape it, ah who am I kidding. I may liquefy some MSG in distilled water and add a few drops to a Kayfun full of liquid, couldn't be too harmful I wouldn't think.

I live by the ocean and breath salt water every day.

Well I been look up MSG via Google actually Bing and the best I could find is all the bad claims can't be reproduced in clinical test and beside they claim it comes natural in some plant foods.

Oh and here is the big one it is water soluble.

I am definitely going to try it tomorrow.

As far as the spicy foods making a vape taste better I have noticed the same thing for a couple of months now. I don't know if it is because some of the foods have MSG in them that thought never crossed my mind. Now that you have suggested that possibility I am going to start checking the labels.

By the way Wal-Mart sells a premade salad they call their "South West Salad". I don't know what's in it (but I am going to read the label next time) but after eating one it makes even bad juice taste like a million dollars (well 500,000 anyway).

Well if Jeremy can discover Rayon maybe Willy, 54 and George can discover the ultimate juice spice-er-upper and it is FDA approved.

Been very intrigued and curious about trying this stuff out, but don't know where to get some. Vape shops around me don't carry it and don't feel like purchasing some online incase I don't end up liking it.

Well Kaynoh,

You can get it here Sally Beauty Supply has hair products, salon supplies, spa supplies, cosmetics, and more! and use the store locator to find one in your area. I am 100% positive there is one in El Monte. By the way the store locator doesn't work in IE-11 windows 8.1 unless you add it to the compatibility view settings.

But the smallest box they have is 500 feet for about $11 dollars. You can buy smaller amounts on eBay but by the time you get thru with the price and shipping you will be damn close to 6 to 7 buck anyway.

If you don't like it com back here and offer it up for half price or something like that. But chances are pretty good you will like it.

PS - scroll all the way to the bottom to find the Store Locator Link.

Yeah the coils are pre-wrapped, just not touching. Size it up to you. I do 5/64 usually, well the notorious Chinese mini blue screw driver is what I wrap on. Or a 1/16 bit.

I called touching coil a micro coil because the term is synonymous with a touching coil for most people.

Thinning the tails is probably the biggest factor. N/A for things like a kanger bc.

You can use a touching coil for it many do and have. I just find it to be better spaced. The density and tails are the most important .
I absolutely agree on density and tails.

And length of the tails is a pretty big thing too I've found, too short and you're dry in 3 pulls and too long and it might as well be a sponge in water... dripping and spitting everywhere.
