Yeah the tobecco v2 came complete. 5ml, 8ml tank sets, plus the dripper mode.

In dripper mode its great air hole is near the top!! and you can fit 20+ drops easily without it leaking all over on its own.

Unfortunately they were the only ones to offer the whole set, I wish hotcigs came with dripper mode. Its much more useful than 8ml mode for me.

What do you use for tank mode for the wicks from above? (sorry haven't finished the linked thread yet)

Killer deal! And I totally agree w/the beakers being the right vessel for this. Curious if a light bulb adjacent to the beaker would work to warm the contents like I'm doing. Don't see why not, but I admit I'm not fully up to speed on the whole mag stirrer concept. The only possible issue I can think of is degradation from the bright light, but that's easy enough to take care of... anyway, you'll be up and stirring one way or the other soon enough, looks like! I'm also curious how a vibratory mill would work. Unfortunately I don't own one, I take the easy way out and trade range brass (and some $$$) for pre-cleaned.

OK I got better pictures of the wick and coil at 200-225ml.. 1.4 28g @ 6.4v with VG..
Note when I first wicked this it actually turned out kinda light on density. You can tell in these pictures when the wick is dryer. Since my juice feeds so well it hasn't been much of a problem this time. . what I've lost with low density is the ability to run the wick till it dries..

Mesh feeders sit on top of the tails, that's why they have that indent.coil it a little bent, I think I dropped it once hitting the coil.

Oh no dry burning or washing of the wicks at all just vaping.

When my coils/wicks look like that I do rebuild and there is no burnt taste at all. I don't get that much out of them, maybe 60 to 100ml, but I'm using a DIY with chocolate and cappuccino in it.

On my Aqua whenever I fill the tank I check the wick and coil if it looks at all dark I just pull out the wick and dry burn the coil. Normally there is very little gunk to burn but it makes me feel better.:D

BigJ knows I am pokin him with the phun stick, and I'm sure he does rebuild a few 100k miles sooner when he is not proving a point. :) If for no other reason than its fun to tinker with them. :vapor:

I find it hard to believe that it does not taste burnt as well...

Nope, not burnt, there's no gunk. It doesn't look any different than at about 30ml. Its the high voltage that leaves the black stains. The flavor is right on. Only time it gets a burnt taste is if my tank isn't wicking.

I'm Not rebuilding if I don't need to. It tastes 90% as good as a fresh wick.

Ask anyone that makes it this far it doesn't taste burnt. That things been through hell over those 200 ml, VG freezeups and all.

Less time I have to spend on rebuilds the better for me, just fill up and vape, if it tastes burnt I will change it..

That wick was run dry to show the coil better without it being drenched in liquid from the wick juice

I rebuild when I'm bored which is whenever I feel like lol.

Yesterday (or should I say today), 2 am... Kids and wife sleeping, nothing hot on ECF so what does a man do besides watching porn? Yep, he goes to the kitchen and rebuilds something.

I decided to rebuild my kfl nano that has been gathering dust for months. I also experimented with a M3 screw to see if the coil would come out evenly.

I must have taken like 10 minutes just to give the rayon an modern haircut. Then I played with TP control a bit, dripping some juice and fire it while I was blowing on the coil.

After that, I went to bed :D

It really is a testament to getting everything working right together, your build, air flow, juice, atty, an last but far from least wicking! ;)

This, this is it.

Getting this kind of longevity you need to have everything set right.

First the wick
Second is not overpowering your juice flow
Third, and I think most important part overlooked is not overpowering your draw or airflow. Overpowering your draw will overheat the coil and juice..

It tastes good, only issue is the look of it, the look only, but find me a non temp protect cotton build that looks better at 20-30ml..

I'm at 205-230 today. Going strong no sign of problems.

I should, lol. Well with the isticl 50 I have a lot less a chance of it being fired by accident which is usually when I would rewick. Now I haven't had it fire on me in my pocket or whatever, so the wick/coil just keeps going..

The thing that sucks is this wick wasnt that great to begin with, but I never had time to rewick and it was working fine, now I'm at 200+ and its still going strong. Now its warmer out so the VG is wicking from the tank like a champ. So I will run as long as I can until the flavor drops. I need to at least get into the 250ml club! :)

I always underestimate my juice usage. My last 250ml bottle lasted me about 30 days. I tend to vape 5-7ml a day. I think a 5 ml day is pretty rare. I estimated that at 5-6ml a day. Its probably really 230 plus right now.

Just gotta keep it juiced. The low density wick will cause the coil to dry fast if wicking slows. Where if it were tighter I would have a lot longer to vape on it before the coil starts to dry out.

Hence when you can vape the wicks dry your density is good,if not its usually light.
