Too low even for tp. Boards work best over 0.1 ohm

Now that is one nice looking setup, the FEV on a Flask....
Your Plasma tank on the Flask is still king of the hill for looks IMHO.![]()
I'll post this here since its my new daily mod.. Fev 5ml on i50, Next to zmax for size comparison.

Maybe has TP?
Well I did a new build on the KF Undead, 28g spaced from a 3.5mm screw 1.5Ω, wicked and trimmed.

It works, but I do get that totally annoying popping of juice with the first vape after it sits.
It is possible that I have the Rayon to tight which is causing the popping?
Tried this at 10W's and it is just not for me, it reminds me of the Nautilus/Genitank days at that power level. I have really been really spoiled by the Origen V2, massive flavor and great vapor production, but it is quite the juice hog. I can just imagine what the Genesis will be like when it arrives...![]()
Did you bump it to 15-20? Do you know how big the air flow is on the undead?
Coil looks really nice!
Yes when I wicked real tight I got a lot of popping.... You can grab some strands at the top and slide then out like pulling a splinter. I would hold the other side of the wick to keep from pulling on the whole thing.
Dude!!! The slots are excellent!! Wth why didn't I thing of that. Did you come up with it or see it somewhere. I hate the dreaded screw pull.
If your going higher wattage it has to be a juice hog to keep up
Yeah jax, my buddy just started vaping finally. He bought an ego kit from bm for like 60.00, and pg juice, then another tank and spinner online, then I gave him my zmax and a dripper to use with some vg. He was likewow. All within 2 weeks. Lol
The isticks 50 is much like a mini flask.without TP
It does say 100 rayon right?
Thanks Jeremy!
Wrapping the 28g tightly on a screw keeps the coils uniform, this one I wrapped backwards as the legs come down from the top instead of across the bottom. So I'll have to do another one as I don't like the looks of this one. Not that it matters since it is inside the Kayfun and no one sees it, but I know it is there like that.
I did kick it up to 20W this AM and will see how that works out, no dry hits yet so it is wicking well. I'll pull some strands out and hope to get rid of that popping.
The wire grooves I had an idea about for quite a while, but never went looking to see if anyone else had done this before. I will be doing this to all my Kayfuns as getting the coil nicely placed and having a wire pop out on you is most aggravating!
Try it out as it is an easy mod that works very well.

Accounting for waste, how many wicks should you be able to make out of a typical unrolled Delasco rayon ball?
Oh you better believe I will try the mod..
All rayon fiber I have will pull apart nicely when grabbed at least 6 in apart. Really close like 2 inches you cannot pull it apart. Tencel is the exception.
Wicking too tight you will taste it, more of a woody nutty more neutral taste.
Yeah peel half of it out or something the top half could have absorbed something fro. the air and filtered it out before it hit the lower half..
It does say 100 rayon right?
I will give that a look when I get home. Here's my YouTube channel
You cab see how it pulls apart in the beginning of this video the first one I made showing the qualities of the wick when handling... I notice I also used a twist method to compress the rayon to slide it through.. Though I haven't done that in a while myself.
Troll, does your box look like the correct one in the image below?

Not to steal your thunder in any way, but the Stillare V3 has the wire grooves... not sure why more companies don't use it or why so many companies insist on using screws that aren't intended to capture a wire being wrapped around them etc. When it's as simple as selecting a different screw head, I would imagine the feature option would be worth it to the manufacturer.
The delascos are kind of small balls... with waste, I'm not frugal with it, I would get 2-4 with one.
I usually take half the length and make one wick to start with and stretch it to fit while I pull it in.
It does take 50% or more wick density than cotton.
One wick should last you at least 4 time a cotton if not 10 times longer.
