Today I got a little bored around here so I went through a few German forums. Somehow I ended on a thread about rayon (where I actually read some good opinions about JeremyR) and I came across a post where somebody mentioned that his coil was getting gunked up and if it had something to do with his juice or wicking

Now the interesting part is that another member answered that in another thread there, it already had been demonstrated that half of the gunk and black spots were actually coming from the outside as the person had put a particle filter inside his drip tip and he was surprised to find gunk on the outside and the coil had half of the gunk he usually had.

I tried to find the other mentioned thread but haven't found it yet.

Makes you think.. It's a device we're using all day long which is in our pockets, car seat, table, office, house, restaurants, etc...

Regards
Tony

How true! A couple months ago I was filling the bird feeder one day, came back in and a little while later my vape tasted really strange. I found one of those tiny bird seeds setting on top of the coil, lightly toasted on one side! So yeah, we get crud inside em without realizing it.

You know how kids are - always trying to outdo the grown-ups. :glare:
When I was a noob, I would've read all 12K posts.
haha I wasn't a noob, and I STILL read all 12K posts!
but I think I was only 72 pages behind.
I just thank my lucky stars that when I got here, there were only ~1k posts to read. :D

Where can I get organic pocket lint?

Step 1: Find someone dressed like this:

hippy-clothes-1.jpg

Do I have to boil it first?
No, silly! It's ORGANIC.

HAHAHA, one semi negative post and out comes the lynch-mob!

oh, what the hell, I'll pile on: How is Atnalta a palindrome of anything?? ...or did I miss something?

In light...

Guys we shouldn't be calling troll or anything to those that post their thoughts.. We should be polite In our response.. Sure tell them where they are wrong, but as nice as 'possible'.

Let them know some facts and leave it at that in regards to responding to them.

The chance to sway one to the better vape shouldn't be lost.

You know when you went to 275ml I was wondering.. I remember how much you used to clean them.

But seriously, this sounds interesting.

I try not to pocket, lint lung hits are not great. Lol!

Life's too short to be doing all that typing. Maybe we can just post links to the LAST TIME we said all the same stuff.

I know right!! But which time and where is it.. LoL

Who was the long poster? Are you guys picking on me? Almost all my post are long winded but my cat won't stick to one topic when we are talking so I take ever opportunity to vent (considering I have a captured audience) that speaks English even Tony.

We were talking about the thread Holman. :)

All the posts we've made in the past..

Oh... So I can put my guilty conscience back in the closet. ;)

I will say that "Cindy's" Idea of just referencing back to post we have already made apposed to rewriting everything but that would require some degree of organization - not my strong suit.

PS - who's paranoid

Daym my vape is so perfect for me I don't even desire any new gear. :D

Rayon (of course)
Russian 91% (original)
Vapor Shark rDNA40 (x2)
28ga Ni200 spaced coils
My juice (RY4 and type M 40/60 pg/vg)

Woofer,

I'll give you two weeks... tops!

If I had a nickel for every time I have said the same thing I would have the money to buy the next toy. :D

PS - you do have a very nice collection of top notch equipment but mark my words the Chinese are going to come out with something new before you can go thru your current set of batteries and they make those too.

@JeremyR, thanks for the wicking tips!

Also thanks for the pacifistic post. Guys, I was also thinking that japanese organic cotton was more safe until I got my facts right. It's impossible to ask someone to read gazilions of posts or be able to search them efficiently before expressing his/her opinion and/or fears. It's more constructive to disccuss it again and again and again and...

With that being said one of my gratest fears with japanese organic cotton, beyond its proccessing and pesticides, is the unfortunate and really saddening event of that reactor meltdown...

Also, around here a lot of shops sell re-packaged KGD. I trust o.b.'s rayon more than I trust the quality, originality and purity of the re-packaged KGD or similar cotton pads

Yeah. Unfortunately the guy on the german forum also mentioned it was not feasible to install a particle filter as common practice because the maintenance was too high and cumbersome. Rather deal with mystery particles falling inside :D

I'm with you, Woofer. Holman, everybody is different. I have a CE3, yeah a cig-a-like bottom feed mini tank, that has had the same rayon wick in it since I first wicked anything with rayon. That's got to be at least four or five months, or longer. I'm still using the Foggers I bought about the same time. And, I'm using them all with the same liquids and mods that I've had for quite a while now, some of them for two years or more. If it works for me, I tend to stick with it. I will admit to working on some DNA40 mods, but plan on using the same tanks on them that I'm using now. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
