So a kind ECFr here PIF'd me some CCr. From that I went out and bought 500 ft. So its my turn. Anyone on the fence PM me and I'll send you a sample.
I guess it depends on how much cotton you used, sorry... Glad you got it working!! I guess the most important thing is use just enough that it doesn't loose contact with the coil after it breaks in. I essentially pull mine straight off and put it through the coil I guess that's were I get the huge amount from. If you see some of my loose wicks they look huge don't they?
I put that big chunk in and twist it down, if too tight I stretch it a little till I can lightly twist it and pull through. I let the coil compress it I don't ahead of time.
Heres my wick today, 3rd day on hangsens Arabic, 3% and excellent in your face flavor can't vape anything else lately. probably 15 ml by the last pick. //32 1.4 ohm running high voltage 5.5-6v stacked zmax
It's had a couple hints of drying on it over the last 3 days due to empty tank and a flashi tank wick problem for a bit. But of course the rayon warns you so you never really get to the dry hit.

I posted this Rayon find over at the Kayfun Addicts facebook group, it naturally started a .... storm of controversy regarding the safety aspect of using it...I just don't what to say to these guys anymore.
Let them be I guess, it's thier loss and thats more cellucotton rayon for real interested people. Just link here for anyone interested for now. Tell them the research is here. I've got to imagine at some point it's gonna go out of stock. They could never expect this..

They probably used distilled because it's highly attractive to minerals, like salts... Leaving pure regenerated cellulose, (Cellulose OH)

Yeah the one near the Publix is close to me; I'm hoping that a) they have it and b) they have the smaller boxes. If not I'll order it online; I really don't want 500 ft of the stuff, I'm 53 yrs old. Even 40 ft is quite a lot!

Ah right. I guess the main reason why I'm asking is because the taifun doesn't really have that small ceramic cup to kinda "hold" the rayon against the coil. The coil in the taifun dangles pretty high off the base, and the chimney is pretty wide so it's gonna be quite a bit harder to wrap the rayon around the outside of the coil and have it stay up there. Not sure if I'm making sense.

Yeah, just switched from Black Fairy (strong absinthe) to Dekang Melon (very light flavor) without even cleaning the head (just "ran it dry") and there's no lingering taste at all!
I'm still on the tencel tops, waiting for those lovely envelopes of cellucotton to start coming in from some fine folk here. My rose is begging for some rayon
Holy crap! A tri coiled Rose?! Nice work man. I gotta ask though, how on earth do you stand the heat? Even at just dual coil, the tip gets too darn hot, since it's all one piece with the chimney.
I just read through the thread over at kayfun addicts and if they don't want to use it, that just leaves more for us.

Built my FIRST EVER Vcore coil last night and put it into the eXpromizer. Re-wicked the eXpromizer on Sunday with CC, and last night around midnight, the CC was still clean! I've put probably 30ml of unflavoured 90%VG juice through it since Sunday. It was working fine and tasting fine, curiosity got the better of me, and I also wanted to try a vcore.
So being my first vertical coil, I had no idea what I was doing. I took a piece of CC and wrapped it pretty tight around the coil twice. Then took a small piece and layed it over the top leg of the wire. Screwed on the chimney cap and it's pretty well full of CC in there. Buttoned it all up and it's working awesome! The density of the vapour is even better now! WOW! It just keeps getting better!
