I like everything here and I especially like the people in this thread. Always extremely helpful, never any heated discussions that fall into mod intervention. You don't see any feathers ruffled like is some of the other threads I subscribe to and trust me I don't like many a post in those threads.

I am not a marathon distance Rayon user as I have flavor ADD and keep too many juices on the go, so I can't offer any help that way as I usually run a tank or two then rewick. Since I am a also new Rayonati myself, it is excellent to see new devotees approach the Altar of Rayon for the first time and accept the blessings from our Prophet Jeremy.



I have to fill up my on hand Rayon bag as the big box o' Sally's is up in the storage room. I have given quite a few of Slavkov's dm Viskose balls to many a fellow vaper and only have half a bag left so those are treated like gold and used in my favorite RTA's like the Rose's, my FeV V3, and now the Taifun GS II.

You're right, @TrollDragon, this is a great group of people in this thread. Everyone is always willing to help a fellow vaper in figuring out the nuances involved in converting to rayon vs cotton. No drama here, just great vaping with rayon.

The only problem with the Aqua V2 is it needs a bigger tank. Yummy vape but it sure moves the juice quickly.

Yes it sure is.

The original 100ml were on kanthal. And 200 & 275+ on kathal as well.

Temp control changes it slightly and makes it a little easier to get to 100 and beyond.

Ugh, the Aqua V2. I was building it single-coil and it was such a PITA. I ended up with split tails into all 4 juice channels, but it was still a pain to figure out how much tail to put into the channels. And the filling. I wasn't about to pull out the syringe for that atty. Double-coil decks like those, I wish they'd start including those silicone plug/adapter things, like they do with the Goblin Mini.

I actually twist a nice dense rayon wick and jam it in place with the air flow screw, then pack the channels with it on the one side. I'm using a 1.1-1.2 ohm single coil on it and it's working beautifully thus far. For those keeping score:

Aqua v2 single 1.2ish ohm single coil, kanthal
IPV mini firing 20w and below
DIY ejuice 40/60 pg/vg @ 16mg/ml

As far as flavor, I haven't yet decided, but am leaning toward a Turkish blend I'm working on (and just about have nailed).

P.S. said set up was PIFed to me by an outstanding individual that I work with who vapes, that I still have yet to convert to rayon

As long as it's ok to keep the thread going, I'm ready to take the leap using rayon. I've sworn by the Japanese cotton but it's gotten "fussy" to wick in some tanks as my vape expectations keep rising lol. Chasing the dragon for something even better.

Is there a recommended box-o-rayon of a type that works well available on Amazon? Thanks.

I just took a quick look and found this one, which looks good -

If you have a Sally's Beauty Supply close by, which is actually fairly likely, you can pick up Graham CelluCotton there. Just make sure it says "100% Rayon" on the box.

just remember that cotton adds taste of itself to ur juice, rayon imo doesnt add anything to the flavor.
so when u do try rayon remember that ur juices will taste different in that u will get the true flavor of ur juice and as such u actually might not like the flavor
