Yeah I've read every post so far. No way that I can see that I'm going to be able to dry wick an assembled gennie. You can't grab both ends of the wick.

I was able to put the dry wick through this coil with-out touching the end. For this you twist & push the portion you can hold right at the top of the coil. You essentially screw it in. If the wick is too thick it won't work.

See link again.

Next time you mess with it maybe give it another try.

I've been using the Rayon in 3 of my 4 KF's for a 2 days now, I can't put my finger on it but the flavor of my juice is slightly different...not really in a bad way, just different, and based on a number of comments regarding nic buzz increasing...well that's just not happening for me, no different than before.

And I'm thinking this Cellucotton stuff is't organic and has bleach/chemicals so I'm assuming the taste is going to be like regular cotton balls. I could be wrong, but considering what it's intended purpose of what it is used for (catching drips from perms in beauty shops), it probably has been treated with some chemicals in some way, I would think.

Rayon is made from trees, basically silk derived from wood instead of the cocoons of insects, so that seems entirely organic to me; it's not "man-made", just "man-processed". As to chemicals, I can't say, but I asked someone here about this and received what I thought was a satisfactory answer; maybe whoever it was -- Tbev maybe? -- could post that info again, regarding chemicals used and the removal of same before marketing.

Dont worry Jeremy - you're awesome :)
And it's already a great effort that you're trying to proof this stuff is safe either way. Just because you made this thread, doesn't really mean you have to. So it's twice as great that you try to help - as you said you get nothing from improving other's vape experiences like this. Just out eternal gratitude- that's for sure :D

I agree, and he's a good 'un to quiz about battery safety, too. :D Thx Jeremy!! :thumb:

played with a aga t2 last night myself, got it together single coil u-wick style, it works but takes a little effort, and i found that i didnt have enough rayon in my coil due to the small wicking holes(made to large of coil)...anyway it can be done, it will work, but seems a new style tank (russ/kayfun/taifun/foggster ect) would be simple easier/quicker than the ol aga t's. with a good build, work work well, im just not patient enough to deal with it too many times. Rayon is killing it in my igo dripper. carry on rayoners

Thanks for the info! I'm not criticizing, or trying to poke holes in this thread, just curious. I actually found out about it on other threads before I found this thread. Some positive some negative responses to CelluCotton rayon (which is to be expected) so I was trying to do my own research.

I have some being PIFed to me to try (again, before I even found this thread). I'm glad I get to try it first because those boxes at Sally's are HUGE! I may ask my hair dresser if they use it and just buy a smaller amount from her ;)

Just found this thread. Lots of reading. Is there a specific post you guys could direct me to that explains the preparation? Meaning does this material need to be boiled ahead of time?
I assume the link below is the material that is the choice right now?
Amazon.com : Graham - Cellucotton Beauty Coil 44043 3 lb. Box : Hair Care Products : Beauty

Thanks for any info and saving me some time. Still reading. Lot's to go through.

It's half the price if you can get it at Sally's. I paid $16.32 after tax for the 3 lb. box at a Sally's nearby.

This is a picture of the 2 lb box that many of us are using, it measures about 9 1/2" square .. it costs around $11 + tax.
I have been using mine for a week, have some that I boiled and some that I did not .. doesn't seem to make a difference to me, it's all good.

Yeah sorry this thread has gotten as big as the 500ft box unrolled.

I have posted research data every day or two here. Unfortunately my work load has been heavy, but I will at least put a compilation of my posts together. If you advance thread search my handle you will be able to find my posts on the subject faster. Also followed others around those posts.
