Rayon wick, better flow, flavor, saturation and Nic Hit!

Next time I have a gennie apart, I think I will try a 4 inch piece about as thick as the coil, a piece of folded kanthal, and do the thread the needle thing. Maybe do a dual coil with a longer piece and down one and out the other. snip snip.

Hey Paul just had a revelation that may help you. Put the wicks in the deck unassembled. Ideally you'll gauge the density closely. Put it together. Take your coil point the tip slide it in coil. While using a twisting of the wick slide the coil down mount it. Then twist and pull the wick through till at the proper length for the tank..

As always use a long piece to start with..

Coil has to be same diameter as the wick hole. Or a hair smaller.

been running mine at 0.1ohm 26ga parallel coil the last 3 days. only thing the wick shows is the color of the juice im using.

I use a clear juice .. been running the same wick for 4 days .. have run over 36 ml through this one wick. my wick looks brand new.

I've been using the Rayon in 3 of my 4 KF's for a 2 days now, I can't put my finger on it but the flavor of my juice is slightly different...not really in a bad way, just different, and based on a number of comments regarding nic buzz increasing...well that's just not happening for me, no different than before.

It's more like drinking it because of the saturation. And it increases the flavor, thus sweeter juices the sweetness is more pronounced. Since the pallet picks up sweetness easier than some of the other flavorings.

There obviously is also some user application that would effect your result. I've been playing with it for like 9 months so I got it down pat.

Also I'm on a zmax v3 stacked so I've been able to up the wattage/voltage from 12 to 20.

Been vaping 12mg for a year chain vaped it no issues. I have gone down to around 9 and still have to put the mod down. Can't chain vape it. Well put some 12mg nic base in.. Wohoo that Shiite is jacking me up had to dump it and go back to the 9.

No I don't I opted for the flash e vapor clone instead on my last buy.

You should be able to do it like my most recent posts of the oddy, no? Do the needle light tuft pack around the outsides after the straight wicks are run and soaked to shrink. Should be good to go. Just check after a tank for tightness around coil pack a couple tufts atte loose spots around the outside.

i have recoiled to at least .1-.2ohms lower since using cc(i only sub-ohm).
thats how good it is!!

Thanks for the info! I'm not criticizing, or trying to poke holes in this thread, just curious. I actually found out about it on other threads before I found this thread. Some positive some negative responses to CelluCotton rayon (which is to be expected) so I was trying to do my own research.

I have some being PIFed to me to try (again, before I even found this thread). I'm glad I get to try it first because those boxes at Sally's are HUGE! I may ask my hair dresser if they use it and just buy a smaller amount from her

I was shocked many years ago when I learned that rayon really wasn't synthetic, it came from trees -- just from the feel of the fabric, I would have guessed synthetic! So I can understand that a lot of others might be surprised by its organic nature too. And yes, these ECFers are some of the kindest and most generous folks in the world; someone is PIFing me some of it too, which is great, as you say, with the huge size of the box you have to buy. I won't mind that, if I like it, but I really would hate to buy that much of something and then find out I don't like it -- same exact situation with this huge ball of P&C yarn I have, and will never use again in an atty. Maybe I could learn to crochet.

So day too on this coil... I must say, flavor certainly is popping. Need to play with it a little more but I may take my ceramic wick out from my afc cyclone on the Dibi and rewick...

You'll probably find that it will take a couple rounds of adding tufts as the wick breaks in. You'll get a dry hit when the wick comes loose from coil. Just tuck some light tufts in so it touches coil but you don't want it packed too tight either, should be good for 2 weeks+ when it's set.

But it is synthetic. There isn't a rayon bush, tree, fish, fowl or animal. Its made by man.

I think because of its usage by activists for all sorts of things over the past 30 years that synthetic has had its meaning shift to be equivalent to non-organic. And that isn't true. It simply means not found in nature and has no inherent indication of this being bad or good.

Wick report: Day 3, tank 3 and the flavor and vapor are as strong as when I first filled my Kayfun. If this was cotton with the juices I use the flavor would be very muted and I'd debate switching to a new wick. Then decide to muddle through the third tank without changing just because it's a bit of a mess and bother and I don't want that.

I believe so, it's magic wick. I have a feeling this is the next evolution of ecigs and you guys are first in line.

It is unbelievable, even today I'm getting insanely potent hits and I'm still blown away by it. And you know how long I've playing with this. Since before the oddy Vcore thread.
