I kind of thought that innokin was tired of people saying that they do look like bombs so just like many of us Vapers they too can be a smartass.
I mean if I was a e-cig designer and people kept telling me my stuff looked like a explosive device I would of made something like that too.

Agreed. I have that same smart aleck attitude.

My slightly disturbed mental picture of a hypothetical situation:
Anti-vaper: "Y'know, that thing could blow up. It's VERY dangerous."

Me (showing them my 'grenade' mod): "Hmm, I never thought of it that way. You're right." Calls bomb squad and turns herself in.

I just take it as a novelty/collector's item that innokin has designed to go along with the 134. Cool for those who like it, and they would match each other nicely in a firearm/artillery/etc. mod collection. Different strokes for different folks, ya'll.

IMO, its not a smart thing to base a PV on, especially after everything that has been going on with people shooting up places and others. If it were me, i would not have made it due to the fact that vaping is still in its infancy. we do not need any more ammo placed in the hands of big tobacco. next news show you will see them going after this device and claiming they need to stop ecigs instead of going after fruity flavors that are "geared towards children".....makes me vomit a bit in my mouth just typing that.

My SVD equipped with a hypertank and 18650 battery resembles a telescope. Should I worry that I'll be mistaken for Galileo carrying that in public? (Totally meant as humor and not an example of ANYTHING!)

As for carrying the Coolfire in an airport I can imagine the havoc it would create if the battery were to vent at the worst possible time and or location.

I'm another who wants their collection on my end table while playing Black Ops type games with hubby. We're not into real wars, can't handle the news at all, but the xbox type games provide a sense of helping the youngsters fight the bad guys. We feel patriotic, during gaming, whereas the IRL politics leaves us feeling used and abused. The IRL politics is forcing veterans from jobs, homes, insurance, communities, because they smoke a LEGAL tobacco product. The Innokin collectors items, on the table/shelf, is a patriotic icon to me. If that's politically incorrect, then kiss my grits!

I was born in 1970 and back then there were lots of toy guns, toy hunting knives, and lots of toy grenades. Back then cops didn't shot kids who had toys. Today I'd warrant a guess that 99.9999% of us turned out pretty ok.

Maybe it is because of how I grew up and how I turned out in the end that I don't think the grenade shaped vape is bad. It is just a novelty to me.

What it does is question the insane amount of unneeded "terror mongering" the media does.

But then I also played video games all my life and still never killed anyone.. so I guess I'm a mystery to network news. :D hehe

I would say it is a waste if the creator DOESN'T use it. If he(she?) does use it, then not a waste!

I agree. Heck, if we can have whiskey bottles shaped like penguins, ashtrays shaped like flowers, and beds shaped like hearts, why not APV's shaped like grenades?

It just reminds me of the grenade shaped lighters. Even looks like they used the same mold. lol
There used to be a big case at the airport with all the weapon shaped lighters that were TSA banned. I don't imagine they'd take too kindly to grenade shaped PVs.

It's really kind of sad that we've reached the point where we start confiscating things because they look like something scary or might offend someone...

But back to the grenade APV - I'm sure that it will find a market. I wouldn't buy a Smart car, but people are driving them. More power to them, I say.

Well I happen to love my Smart Car (it's the only Mercedes I could afford), I use my 134 while driving it and can't wait till my CoolFire 2 arrives.

I am female and not into firearms at all. I have both the 134 and the Cool Fire 2. I only take them to vape meets or to the vape shop where others will appreciate them. I got them just for fun. Do I really need another tube mod or box mod? No, not really. They start to look alike after awhile. I like that Innokin is doing something original instead of cloning everything.

I saw a homemade mod at the vape shop today that looked like it was made from an old stainless steel hunter's knife. The knife blade had been removed, and the handle had been drilled straight down the length of it for the battery housing. The tank was sitting where the blade would have been. It looked cool, but it was extremely heavy (it might have even been made of iron).
