Have any of you battery guru types looked at these batteries? 4.8 Volt NiMH Battery Cell

I keep thinking about what I could do with it, even make a non-regulated bucaneer with it. Would save alot of bucks if I didn't have to install leds and circuit boards and still get a 4.8v vape. Hmmmm....

capt' allot of folks are using those in their 3.7 mods. i have not bothered yet. i think those are the same size as an 18650

I used similar batteries with my mod Mako Maksi.

There is of 2 sorts, 400 mah (for Mako ) and
600 mah (for mod 18650) ...

But I think that it is too just in autonomy.

In fact I believe that they are 4 cells of 1,2V assembled.

Technically, NiMH batteries do not have a "memory effect", but strictly speaking neither do NiCds. However NiMH batteries can experience voltage depletion, also called voltage depression, similar to that of NiCd batteries, but the effect is normally less noticeable. To completely eliminate the possibility of NiMH batteries suffering any voltage depletion effect manufacturers recommend an occasional, complete discharge of NiMH batteries followed by a full recharge.
